This hotel is a very family friendly resort - great small pool and whirlpool for kids indoors. Free breakfast was good. The front staff could have been a little more helpful and attentive. They need to welcome guest and explain more about the facility when you check in. We just knew about the free breakfast from friends and we had to explore to find the pool weight room etc.

The rooms were very nice and clean, however, they did not have a smart tv, which is pretty common these days. The breakfast was also very good and the lobby was nice. However, the walls were extremely thin- we could hear dogs barking and kids yelling frequently. And the attention to detail throughout the hotel regarding cleanliness was disappointing- elevators had busted buttons and were dirty, there were random holes in a few of the walls, etc. The pool was extremely small and the hot tub was dirty, plus there was a very unpleasant smell on the pool level. I guess if you're staying in Glenwood you'll most likely visit the hot springs anyway, but my daughter was really disappointed in the pool. They also asked me if I wanted daily housekeeping and I said yes, but the housekeepers never once came to my room over a 3 night stay. I think next time we will stay elsewhere.

PROS: - amazing BREAKFAST - comfortable BEDS - convenient LOCATION - QUIET CONS: - FLIES STAY: Jul 1-3 2024, Room 431 BREAKFAST: - Biscuits and Gravy, Scrambled Eggs and Chile Sauce, Sausages, Fruits, Cereals, Waffle Makers, Yogurt, Coffee Bar, Soda Fountain, Juice Dispenser - By far, the best free breakfast spread I've ever seen BEDS: - Soft, but supportive LOCATION: - Close to hot springs - Walkable to Adventure Park gondola - Plenty of nearby restaurants QUIET: - Room was not near an elevator, exit, ice machine, pool or laundry, so we were not disturbed by outside noises except once when there was a crying baby outside our door. (not a big deal) FLIES: - We found several very large flies and tracked their source to where the holes in the wall for the sink's plumbing were not sealed and had about a 3/4 inch gap. After plugging that with toilet paper, no more flies showed up. This is an easy fix per room, but would likely take some time to complete every room (assuming the problem wasn't just our room). OTHER NOTES: - Hallways were somewhat dark and uninviting - Elevator buttons had broken plastic, but worked fine - Small pool, comfortable room for 1-2 small families - If it weren't for the flies, I'd give 5 stars - If it weren't for the breakfast, I'd give 3 stars

2 members of my family got sick from eating breakfast. We also noticed they were serving spoiled milk. Sausage was badly undercooked. Charging $260 for a mediocre room and then getting served a horrendous breakfast wasnt great. Also the parking is a mess its not clear where you can or cant park in the back parking lot. Elevators are all on the verge of disaster. We have stayed here numerous times. This was the most disappointing.

My family and I favor this property for brief escapes, and I acknowledge the significance of genuine hospitality - demonstrating kindness, understanding, and accommodation. Although our booking was made late at night, we were disappointed to find that our room had an overpowering dog smell, which was not suitable for our young children. Despite inquiring about alternative arrangements, we were refused. Moreover, we were mistakenly informed that we could have a late check-out, which ultimately caused us to feel rushed.

The price for the room was great, it was very kid friendly, and we enjoyed the pool, and the convienience of the location and closeness to all that Glenwood springs has to offer. I found that the hotel room was not as clean as it should be, the bathroom had disgusting stains on the walls, and there was a leftover dirty towel hanging on the back of the door, there were gross stains on the pull out couch, and the chairs in the room.

We appreciated the fact that we were able to book a room that fit our entire family (7 people). The breakfast was good, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed in a double queen suite. The room was large, clean and comfy. I loved how pet friendly this hotel was!! The hotel is conveniently located right by all the family fun stuff, but the traffic sounds were sort of loud. Overall, we had a great stay in Glenwood Springs.
