We were recently evacuated from our home due to a nearby fire. After spending our first night at a different hotel as all other rooms were booked, we found Best Western the following morning. I can't say enough good things about this property and the staff. From the moment we walked into the lobby we knew we were "home" for the next couple of days. Every member of the staff we encountered was kind, pleasant and accommodating. We felt like we were staying with family. Our room was clean and well maintained. We had a microwave which made it easy for us to have meals. The bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soaps and body wash. The bed was very comfy, and we were able to get some much-needed rest. There are many food options in the area. I highly recommend this Best Western.

They do not have infant cribs. They tried to be accommodated and find us an extra one from storage, but it smelled of gasoline and cigarettes, so please make sure you bring your own, or like we did, you’ll have to drive 30 to 40 minutes to the closest Walmart to purchase one. I did find this quite odd, and hadn’t experienced a stay without a safe place for babies to sleep. The staff were all very nice. The room was kept up well, but the pool and hot tub were unusable due to a massive amount of chlorine that burns your eyes.

Rooms were updated and clean. New vinyl flooring in all rooms. Air conditioning was located in the farther separate sofa area which was partitioned by a wall from the bed area and bath. It was much warmer in the bedroom area. The air did not get into the bath at all. There was no separate fan for the bathroom as well. We kept the bathroom door open to get some circulation.
The bed was very firm. This is not my preference as I have RA and need a bit more give for myself.
The shower had really good water pressure and a low tub clearance. My only issue with the bathroom was that the toilet is very low. Great for children though ;)
The pool area was very nice. We did not use this area but wished I had thought to bring my swimsuit.
Breakfast was very nice. Many options including the Best Western waffles which I love. Yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, biscuits & gravy etc.
The staff was very kind and accommodating. Overall a very pleasant experience and will return.

We had visited Calaveras State Park and needed a place for the evening. Angel's Camp was 24 miles away and this hotel was available. Room was very comfortable, very clean and beds comfortable. No elevator so had to haul suitcases up flight of stairs. If you have kids, pool is outside so cool weather would prevent swimming.

We stayed at this Best Western, since it was the only hotel with availability. Fitness room and pool were welcome additions, and our kids enjoyed them very much. Of minor concerns were that the air conditioning in the room was difficult to control and rather loud. The jacuzzi's jets were broken at the time. But overall, the accommodation was comfortable.
Our room was bundled with breakfast, which was a mess. First, there is not enough seating for people. You couldn't even get your food without bumping into other people. The selection of food was pretty much entirely pre-packaged foods, with nothing fresh. Absolutely no healthy meal option for our children -- mostly items coated in sugar. Coffee was bland. Most shocking of all (at least for those of us in California), the entire breakfast is served using single-use plastic and paper wares. The problem is the facility doesn't actually have a kitchen, so they can only provide packaged goods and can't wash dishes.
We would have preferred a cheaper no-breakfast option for our accommodation.

We stayed this hotel on way to Yosemite national park. It was good stay for family, quiet, clean room, good breakfast.
