We booked a double queen room with a pullout for a family of four and were given a king bed. We checked in around 9:30pm so don’t know if they gave our double queen room away. They were booked and no double queen rooms available so offered a separate king bed room to accommodate. Just the timing at night was a bit frustrating but the staff was friendly.

A very nice and clean place to stay. Family oriented. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Quinn whom I talked to before our trip. We were celebrating my son’s 50 birthday on Carnival cruise. We had a shuttle to cruise terminal but a larger family resulted in no room for us but Service desk arranged for a Lyft to pick us up. Only complaint was this large family stayed in the dinning area ( which was small) after eating breakfast and chatted instead of leaving after eating so others could eat. There was No tables available. Some guest went out side but there weren’t enough tables or chairs outside.. suggest a sign requesting guests to be courteous and leave to another area to carry on conversations so other guest can have tables to eat. The large families were done but did not relinquish tables for those who needed to sit and eat! This was the only improvement I felt needs addressing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay! We’ll return to this hotel next time we’re in Long Beach.

A hidden gem! An older, but well-maintained, comfortable hotel. Out family enjoyed the hot tub, breakfast, and walkability to the beach and downtown shops and restaurants. Would recommend!

It was amazing the pool area was small but prefect for my toddler, the hot tub was a huge plus, breakfast served from 5-9 i think, and the rooms are clean, fully stocked and equipped. I would feed recommend and we will be staying here again

Always enjoy staying here. Very convenient to our local family, plus we love walking along Seal Beach's Main Street and pier. Breakfast provided by hotel is substantial.

The best part of this property is the staff! Everyone was very kind and helpful! The breakfast was much better than expected, absolutely better than the typical continental at most hotels. Having the shuttle service was such a perk! In addition to the ride we were provided chairs and umbrellas for the beach. We had such a great day! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Our only criticism is that the pool area needs to be monitored better. We had to go down to the front desk while dripping wet to request towels and there is no signage regarding hot tub use. We were joined in the hot tub by a family with young children, one in a diaper. Diaper was saturated so it was taken off. A naked, unpotty trained child in the hot tub is just gross. Parents were oblivious and actually annoyed with us that we didn't appreciate the potential of soaking in their child's urine or feces. A no children in the hot tub rule would have been helpful. Mandatory swim diapers perhaps!? Obviously the lack of parenting is not the hotel's fault but signage is needed.

Pull out bed was very uncomfortable. People and kids were very loud and noisy at 6:30 in the morning. Perhaps there should be quiet hours posted in the lobby. Otherwise, we love this hotel.

We've stayed at The Pacific Inn a handful of times and are always pleased with the room and accommodations. It has a beachy feel that we want when we are vacationing, an amazing breakfast café, and close proximity to affordable dining, boardwalk shops, and the beach! It's our first time staying as a family of 4 and everything was perfect. The staff really goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome.
