Ayres Hotel Seal Beach

My family stayed 5 nights at the Ayres Hotel, in Seal Beach and we’re so glad we did. It had everything we needed from great location, spacious and clean room, comfortable beds, quiet, breakfast included and a nice size workout facility and pool. Friendly and helpful staff too. Hands down, I would book with an Ayres hotel again.

The property was actually nice, and I liked that a security guard was very visible in the parking lot. My day was going very well, Until the night before check out. I was in California for a family reunion, And when my family was sitting in the lobby, we were told that the lobby was closing. There is no mention before that The lobby had a closing time. We were also told that the pool area was closed. Individuals could be heard out at the pool after they were supposed to have been closed. I was disappointed with the way that everything was handled.

Beautiful hotel with well-appointed rooms and above average breakfast spread. Easy in and out and parking options are great. Good location for easy access to main roads, highway, shopping and restaurants. Lots of traffic but no traffic noise in hotel. Loved the rooms which were big and well thought out. Great beds! Would recommend for anyone - families, seniors, couples...

We truly enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely return in the future. Parking was so simple, didn’t cost extra, and was so close to the room. The front desk staff were welcoming when we arrived & I liked that I could just send a text to request more towels or ask a question during our stay. The facilities were very clean all around, from the rooms to the pool/jacuzzi to the breakfast buffet. The hotel itself is really beautiful and quiet, & the breakfast was honestly really good (I am very picky). My kids and I ate there every morning of our stay. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and came equipped with a fridge and a microwave. The hotel is located next to a lot of places to eat and shop; the target and the sprouts down the street made getting some groceries for the room easy. Many options for DoorDash as well.

Loved my experience staying her for a weekend with family. I would recommended to others indefinitely will be returning in the future.

This met all of our expectations. We were traveling with our kids so the included breakfast was such a bonus!

It was quiet and my kids had a blast in the pool.

We were there for a family funeral. We had a lot of people from different parts of the country. This hotel would not work with us to find a place to gather. The staff did not accommodate our needs and had no way to work out an accommodation for us. I won’t be back to this hotel again. The room smelled like cat pee and the shower head was awful. The bed was lumpy as well. In another room, there were several empty bottles and cans stacked under the hideabed. We were kicked out of the lobby area when we’re were visiting and the open areas closed at 10:00 which left us with no place to visit because we didn’t want to be loud in a room. We were told we couldn’t use the empty room that was available because the sales person wasn’t on property. It was very disappointing.

Convenient for dropping off or picking up family Didn't like that both elevators broke down at the same time had to walk up & down 3 flights of stairs. No service elevator. Husband's an amputee had he been traveling with us he would have missed scheduled events being trapped on 3rd floor in room

Can into town for a family get together. Stayed one night at Ayers. Very nice hotel and conveniently located to our destination as well as the beach. Check-in was easy and front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Room was nice and beds comfortable. Would stay there again.
