Sonesta ES Suites San Francisco Airport Oyster Point Waterfront

I chose this hotel for my son's10th Birthday weekend getaway because he wanted to swim and he wanted me to cook for him and they have a kitchen in the room and they have double Suites When we first arrive, the staff was very accommodating and pleasant Once we got in our room we noticed the TV remote wasn't working so I called to the front desk and let her know she sent another remote that one didn't work in the meantime, we were unpacking and getting comfortable. My kids seen a roach under the microwave in the kitchen and a roach egg under the dishwasher. So now I'm pissed I go to the front desk and told her about the remote and the roaches. She proceeded to tell me there was no engineer staff there at the time to help me And would I like to move rooms? Of course I would Besides them changing our rooms, they did nothing to accommodate us in this situation and I will never Return back to this hotel The breakfast was wonderful though, and Kids enjoy their self at the pool other than the roaches. It would've been a great time

The hotel is just average, when we were there, they were drunk people in the pool so I couldn’t take the kids down to play The first night, luckily they were gone by the next day. Their breakfast service ends at 8 AM, which is ridiculous. You’re on vacation. You don’t wanna have to get up at 6 AM to eat breakfast and breakfast was not great anyways.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Got a 2 bedroom room. Liked how big the rooms were and the area. The hotel only had one elevator. Service and staff wasn't that great. We requested housekeeping service after the 2nd night and left for the day so they can come clean the room and replace our towels. The kids also clogged up one of the toilets as well and requested that to be taken care of. We came back around 5pm to find that our room wasn't cleaned and the toilet was still clogged. At night time we notice our room smelled like cigaretts. We had to put towels under the door to orevent the smell from coming inside our room.

Great space for families traveling together!

I chose this property for our stay because of the view & how close it was to the airport. When we got to the property it was late (9pm(ish)) & I was tired. The next morning I notice there was some trash on the carpet that wasn’t any of our property. I failed to bring it up the next day to staff because I was embarrassed (as this has never been an issue in any other property we’ve stayed at - not Sonesta brand) & because my kids & I were ready to just be out & about. I brought it up to the front desk the next morning by asking if housekeeping could go clean our room & she said housekeeping is only done if we were staying a week or more (I don’t recall reading that anywhere). I let her know there were earrings on the carpet that weren’t mine as I don’t wearing earrings & she said she’d have housekeeping supervisor look into it. We got back later that day & the only thing they did was pick up the earrings & give us more towels. I loved the view from the hotel & my kids loved that they had a basketball hoop (even if the court was needing a bit of love to make it look nicer). Overall the stay was okay but I don’t think I’ll booking another stay within this brand.

Everything was great except the people above me. There was a kid or a run at all hours of the night

The property location is great a nice walkway that ends up at a docking area. My family and I enjoyed that while we were there. The breakfast options could be more varied. The room was a great size for the family however there was some aspects like the carpet and shower tub that needed some deep cleaning. Other than that we had a good time.

The staff was extremely helpful and so kind! The room was spotless and the beds were comfy! My family of 5 only stayed for 1 night but we would definitely book with them again in the future. Plus the shuttle was perfectly on time and got us to the airport promptly!
