The Westin San Francisco Airport

The only thing “Nice” about my “stay” was the sweet lady at the front desk named Nia and her manager on duty. They were really trying to make things nice for me but the stuff I was experiencing was out of their control. The $48 dollar PER DAY parking that I was NOT aware of when I made my reservation was a joke due to the lack of parking that they even have available. The lot is TOOOO to accommodate the 400+ rooms. My phone didn’t work in my first room nor in my second. So every time I had a question for the front desk I had to go all the way down to the Lobby and ask in person. There is no microwave (also unaware when I made my reservation); only the one that is shared in the lobby. The pool area is hot and muggy inside. Couldn’t wait to get out as soon as I stepped in to look at it. The beds felt hard and not comfy at all. The first woman that checked me in was rude and short with me and didn’t even tell me how the elevator worked so I had no idea that I had to use my room key to make it work. Then the last straw was the family of 5 screaming children that got put right next door to my room!!! They moved me again but by that time I had a migraine headache and was famished… only to have to go alllllll the way downstairs to microwave my food that I had brought…. NO WAY. I ended up checking out after only 3 hours and stayed at the Hilton where I had a much better experience. I will NEVER use Hotels.com again. Ever.

Great stay! The customer service was excellent and the check-in was smooth. I slept like a baby.

This hotel is welcoming and kind and helpful. the pool is awesome for family time the food is delicious and the staff is great and friendly

The facilities are generally in good condition and the pool is quite nice. Check-in was easy and staff pleasant. We were visiting for a party with family and friends and were told we would be roomed near one another. They did put us on the same floor, but at the far ends of separate wings, probably a 3-minute walk between rooms. Also, cleanliness was a concern. Upon arrival we found the toilet spattered with old urine and hair of likely nether origin. We told the staff this and were told the manager was not available and that they would get back to us. They didn’t, and the toilet stayed gross and pee-covered. Not what one would expect from Westin.

This Westin near SFO is our go-to hotel for family trips to the Bay Area. Close proximity to the airport, restaurants, and the city make it a convenient place to be. Heated indoor pool also is a major plus. On this specific trip, the staff was nice enough to give us room upgrade and complimentary breakfast due to the loud noise from other guests. We wish the parking was a little less expensive but we're willing to pay the extra $40 per night to stay here.

Everything was good the pool the room the front desk. However the restaurant the grill and vine was very pricey and it served very mediocre food. I did not like the service either. The host were asking all the Caucasian guest how many to dine in the line to get in. We were skipped. That was not good my kids were like wow that was racist. Ruined the whole dinning experience.

This hotel has changed. Would have never booked it. No room service, most limited food ever, front desk doesn’t answer phone, charge to have wifi, which is ridiculous, and was asked to come down 4 floors to get water that was lacking in room (and my child is sleeping). It somehow turned into a self-help, self-serve place to stay with a few people to check you in when you show up. Used to be different.

Extremely noisy, beds so lumpy my kids complained of back pain, rooms stuffy, many if the cheaper hotels in the area are better.

I booked a room for a family of 4 and when I arrived to check in, front desk gave me the room key. I went to the room and turn out it was a king bed. Had to go back to the front and tell him I needed a room with 2 beds. Went to the new room and when I opened the door, it had a funny odor. It was late and I was tired I gave in. I stayed there in the past and it was fine. Unfortunately this time was not the best
