Hampton Inn & Suites San Francisco-Burlingame-Airport South

This property is a little outdated but it is a good place for a sleep, a shower, and a semi okay breakfast. Parking is easy. We also were able to check bags after check out to see the city which was a nice perk. Stayed with small kids.

To say this hotel is a mess would be an understatement. I communicated to the hotel via the Expedia chat thing that we would need a shuttle when we arrived from overseas. I called the hotel when we landed and confirmed where to go to catch the shuttle. We stood out in the cold for 35 minutes, no shuttle. The other hotel shuttles all came by twice. So, we used Uber to get there $55 for a 2 mile trip. Then, when we checked in we were given a different room than the one I chose when I check in on the app. I had chosen a room on the first floor because I was traveling alone with an 8 year old and two oversized suitcases. I didn’t want to have to maneuver them all through the hallways and elevators. Why allow me to choose a room on the app if you’re going to give it to someone else? Once I managed to get everything to my room, I found that the toilet would not flush. I called the front desk and was told I was probably flushing it too fast. I wasn’t. I took the lid off and could see that the flusher was literally not connected to anything. I took a photo but there isn’t a place here to submit it. The front desk said they didn’t have anyone there to fix it and no other rooms so just to use it and they would fix it in the. Are you kidding me? Suffice it to say that I would not recommend this hotel in any way, shape, or form. Having a working toilet in the room is a pretty low bar and they didn’t even reach that.

The hotel was decent, but there were a few things that could have been better 1. The washroom was missing an exhaust. 2. Microwave was too small and placed in a very inconvenient location. 3. The bathroom did not have a latch, and the sliding door option with kids was not ideal. 4. Room service options were after two days, there was no spare toiletry.

Our stay was great, from check in to check out. The breakfast was very good too. The staff was friendly. Parking was easy. Location was everything. Close enough to the city without being in the city. We will recommend to family & friends.

I wasn’t informed until I arrived that the elevator was broken and there were no first floor rooms available. I have a lot of luggage, a stroller and 2 young kids, that wasn’t an option for me. I should have been told ahead of time so that I wouldn’t have wasted my time driving there, and then having to find a new hotel last minute

Staff was very helpful and friendly. We really liked the free breakfast. So manu options for adults and kids and a long block to het it (6-10). This is not our first time there, but just as last time we enjoyed our stay.

I stay with the family we stay for 2 nights its very nice and clean but since it was close to the airport for us it was not quit enough but we have a good 👍 night of sleep 😴
