Understaffed front desk so you expect to wait checking in. Front desk people were friendly. Housekeeper that we encountered the day of checkout was mean and had no consideration. She was knocking at our door at 9:30 am, they were inconciderate regarding us needing more time to pack cause we have a 4 mos old baby and 2 dogs. Not a great place to stay if you have kids and dogs. We don't plan on going back to this place again.

Loved our stay at the Ragged Point Inn. Little traffic on a Sunday evening. Our family had dinner and breakfast and absolutely loved the quality of the food! Menu prices are typical of a higher end restaurant. The staff were all hospitable and kind.

It is a wonderful place to eat with the family or just on a joy up to big sur and if you just need to get away from everything and everyone. This place is a 10 out of 10.

Been here several times before, but this time we found the property lacking a little on the maintenance. Our bathroom door did not close at all and the handle was almost off. A blind did not work. We had very kind service guy help us out (9:30pm) who kind of fixed the door - not the handle. The blind could not be fixed and I had to put up a sheet to cover it. It worked all right and all over we had a nice stay. The surroundings at Ragged Point are gorgeous. Dinner was wonderful and service very attentive. Next morning front desk kindly offered our family breakfast to make up for the unfortunate experience with the bathroom door and blinds. I'm sure we will be back next year.

A beautiful and peaceful place to unwind. Be prepared for no Internet/Wifi access. This added to making this a nice anniversary spot for us. Plenty of space to run around and things to see for small children so it could be a nice place to unplug for a young family. The sunsets were absolutely spectacular and it seemed quite a few tourists would come to the destination just to see the sunset. The grounds are busy during the day as one of the few places with a public restroom on the Big Sur stretch. All the food and beverages we had in the restaurant and cafe were impressive.

Beds were way too small for a family of four. They were twin size double beds. The food at the restaurant was overpriced and underwhelming

The location is gorgeous! Very easy to get to, ample parking and they have their own gas station, market and snack bar along with a restaurant. The hotel staff was friendly, nice and check in/out was simple and fast as well. No Wi-Fi or cell service this please is a dead zone but it was nice to get a break from technology for a day. The rooms are nice and big, we had two queen/doubles and it was prefect for 2 kids and 2 adults. Water in shower stayed hot for a while and the fireplace heater is so nice to have as it was 40 degrees at night. We had our own “backyard” with the view of the water and the cliffs.

Beautiful location and facilities. Check-in desk wasn’t very friendly or accommodating. There was NO Wifi and NO phones in the rooms. The only phone available was in the lobby. And no one could call in after 10:00 pm. Super scary for parents away from their kids. I wish they would have told us this in advance.
