Quality Inn near Hearst Castle

Great location and decent price. The staff were super helpful and friendly! And the kids loved the cookies!

Mr. Hererra was amazing check-in was so easy. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He even had home made cookies ready with hot chocolate. Rooms were very clean. And the breakfast had everything my family enjoys eating. All the staff were very attentive. I am definitely returning to this hotel.

We had an excellent stay. We got checked in by the General Manager that was on top of everything. They have a heated pool the kids enjoyed and also a Jacuzzi. We i say the General Manager is on top of everything he even came out to turn on the fire pit for us without even asking. They have continental breakfast it is great waffles, eggs, bacon. What more could you need! The hotel is right across from the beach. We will definitely keep Quality Inn in mind when we come to San Simeon.

The staff were fantastic! They went above and beyond our expectations. The complimentary breakfast food was incredibly good. Before we checked out, we were even given chocolate candy for the family for the road. What an awesome experience. Highly recommended!

I have to say bluntly that this is not the fanciest hotel I have ever stayed at and the beds could have been a bit softer (I have a bad back and rarely find a hotel bed to suite by back problems) but it certainly had the nicest staff and had so many accommodations. The breakfast was very yummy, my kids especially loved the waffle maker. We will definitely stay here again should we venture out that way again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was wonderful, Edward the manager was super friendly and very attentive, the whole staff was. My family and I are very satisfied and would go stay there again.

We stayed in a ground floor room and the screens were popped out of the windows. We were concerned about safety. The man working the front desk said it was a safe area but that the wind was responsible. He replaced the screens, but our family didn’t feel safe. The quality in should invest in Quality windows and screens so the guests can sleep peacefully at night.

I came here on a whim bc I needed time to myself. I saw the price, the jetted tub, and the fact that it was so close to my favorite beach (Moonstone) and I just couldn't pass it up! I read some of the reviews on noise and outdated design. Honestly, I think those people are just crazy! It was fairly crowded during my stay and I didn't hear anything I wouldn't at any other hotel. In fact, it was pretty quiet. And I enjoyed the quietness. They have trees and shrubs decorating the outside which made it feel peaceful. As for the inside of the room, those lousy reviews made it seem like I was going to enter a 70s room! My room looked like any other room you can find at another hotel! Y'all just acting bougie 🙄 And the service?? AH-mazing! The front receptionist, I believe his name was Edgar, he was top notch! Smiles, made conversation, inquired on my needs and if I was satisfied w my stay. He even took the time to try to say my name right and even complimented my hair. Definitely above and beyond! And the free breakfast??? This wasn't your cold cereal and milk breakfast! This was a buffet of freshly cooked eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and everything else you would think of for a breakfast menu! I saved a minimum of $15 on my trip with their breakfast buffet. If you can get the room w the jetted tub, I highly suggest that you do. 100% fantastic for someone who needs a good hot bath 👌 I enjoyed my stay here so much that I've already booked my next stay, this time w family!

Nice, clean rooms. Ocean view with balcony available. Outdoor pool and spa, with redwood deck. Complete with free standing fire pit. Not just continental breakfast. full breakfast buffet. Super money saver for a family to feed.

The room was very clean. But they put a family with small, loud children above our room. Made for an unpleasant evening.
