I was on a weekend trip with my family, the place is nice, secure and has a great location, located in the middle of the way to Japan Town, ChinaTown, the piers, a block from the cable cars and the powell station, our room was comfortable, clean and the beds were really good for a good rest, just the bathroom kind of small but nothing to worry, at least for me; the staff is really nice, I´ll like to mention this guy at the front desk, Frankie, great attitude, really nice and helpful, definitely will stay here again on a net trip.

Polite, nice, helpful, welcoming people at front desk, clean rooms, walk distance to great stores like Macys, Nike,adidas, LV, Gucci,etc Walking distance to cable cars, don’t have a garage on site but a couple very near from hotel. Great for families. Planning to go back soon

woke up to a soiled bed spread right outside our room with a naked homeless man urinating on it in the hallway- we were on the third floor so not sure how he was let into the hotel - there were fixtures falling off in our room mold in the bathrooms and even found bugs in our bed - the hotel did very little to try and fix things or even offer us another room - the soiled bead spread was left in the hall way for over a day even after i shower picture of it to the front desk - won’t be coming back to this hilton/ Barnes hotel ever again - we had three rooms here for a family trip and did not feel safe or comfortable at all - this is a 2 start at best not a 4 star like they advertise

This is not a family friendly hotel. The building is old so you will hear everyone. No view at all except someone else room. The fire alarm went off at 1 am and everyone was on the streets until 2 am. That was fun!
