The hotel was nice and historic. We did eat the first night at the Blue Mermaid. The food and service was great. Parking at the hotel is impossible valet is the only option. Traveling with a child in a wheelchair that is medically fragile we had a lot of stuff and the valet was patient but we felt rushed. They were grabbing items out of our car. It was chaos. We also could not access our car without getting valley. No fault of the staff or building but it just wasn’t right for our needs. The hotel was very nautical and cute. The room was spacious. The mini bar situation was too much for us and less alcohol in the room would have been more ideal. We had room service breakfast which was great and fast. Cool hotel but not for complex medical accommodations .

Both check in and check out went smoothly. Everyone we encountered was very helpful with any questions we had about the area. Room was great for our family of four with a 3-night stay.

The staff was amazing the place was very nice. We had to move rooms due to noisy people above us, they were very accommodating though. There was also a homeless man blasting music in the lobby that the staff removed. San Fran has a lot of drugs and homelessness it’s very sad and even over here we saw several people that made me concerned for my child’s safety and it was just sad. The staff was amazing.

This was our first time staying at Argonaut Hotel and I will be returning. My family and I stayed here over the weekend and we have two children and everyone was so happy and comfortable at this hotel. The staff were amazing and we did not want to leave. The rooms were quiet and our view was wonderful.

The hotel is ok, our room was dirty when we arrived with a big coffee spillage on bedside table which made me doubt how clean the rest was. We asked for the room to be cleaned and came back and it was the same so had to ask again the next morning. The shower was also broken and bathrooms dated. Attempting to upsell to the kids by leaving overpriced soft toys on the bed when you arrive is undesirable too.

We had the most wonderful stay at The Argonaut! The staff was very attentive, the room was clean and the bedding and pillows were great. We upgraded to the suite for the last two days so we could gather with family and the suite was AMAZING! The location of the hotel couldn't be any better for views and walkability to the wharf, the maritime museum and Pier 39. The Blue Mermaid was better than we expected! Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We'll be staying again for sure.

I love this hotel! They’re so friendly, nicely and the area so peaceful! Very convenient for everything, right by the piers , u can walk and feel the fresh air around this hotel! I will be back again with my family soon! Thanks for took care of us!

This was the first visit to San Francisco for my family and ai fe that the location was ideal. We were in the heart of restaurants and shops. The cruise port was a short 30 minutes walk

The Argonaut is very close to a lot of tourist spots including Big Bus hop on hop off starting point. Even the meeting place for our day trip tour to carmel/monterey is just on the next street. The hotel room is clean and the one we had was facing the bay where we can see the Golden Gate Bridge from a distance. I travelled with my two teenage kids and my elderly mother and we felt safe walking around the area. We hang out in the park along the bay next to the hotel on a lazy day we just want to relax. Staff are all nice from receptionists to housekeeping. We had the best time and definitely will stay in this hotel again.
