Harbor Court Hotel

What was unique was the proximity to the waterfront, what the problem was the manager and the room. It was not as depicted in the add and when the front desk tried to help me out. The manager took over and kept me from doing anything, all while adding fees and charges that were more than the rate of the room. When I left the room because of the depressing view I had of a brick wall, I came back to an open 10 bottle of water I never touched next to a bottle of wine that was included in the reservation. The door to my room was in front of the elevators, leaving no peace or privacy, not to mention once you opened the door, you couldn’t walk in. You immediately have to sit on the bed. When needing to use the bathroom, you open the closet sliding door to an RV sized bathroom. Parking was 75 dollars. I had no sleep, I heard everyone using the elevator, because it was literally across from my door. It seemed like a converted janitorial closet. Having to return to SF at least 5 more times this year, and I wanted to bring my family. I will be sure to avoid this property at all costs. Even the AC unit was broken. It was the equivalent of staying in a dorm room with less space and no privacy. The only reason I had to stay, if the manager said I would be charged regardless. It’s a bait and switch, be very cautious when looking to stay here.

The front enterance and the back are very welcoming, the Hotel is clean nice and very warm welcoming you as a guest. Service wax excellent, quick and professional. I will recomand this Hotel to all of my friends and family, and definitely return to stay there.Thank you.

I had probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel, here. It’s such a nice hotel and even though I walked in looking like complete garbage (I had just driven 16 hours that day and 10 the day before) I was still treated like I belonged. The guest service manager, JaVonne, who also checked me in, was so nice and kind, and while he told me I had missed the complimentary champagne, he would still have some delivered to my room (because my hands were full with bags). It’s service like that, that really makes a place stand out. I had just had a long drive, it was New Year’s Eve, and I’m far away from any of my friends or family and here’s JaVonne personally delivering some champagne to my room and just completely turning my night around. Thank you so much JaVonne, you don’t know how much that meant to me! I ordered room service the next day and the egg soufflé was decent and the lady who delivered it was very nice. The valet attendant was also very nice and offered to help with my bags. Overall, I had an amazing stay and Harbor Court will have my business any time I’m in SF!
