The Palace is a beautiful classic hotel. I booked to celebrate my husband & my 23rd anniversary. I was disappointed in our room at first— I had been under the impression that a junior suite would have more than one room. It was also not ready at 5:30 when we arrived. There was also only one robe & some of the furniture was really scratched. BUT we were given a $50.00 bar credit for the room being late and it turned out to be comfortable & quiet. We enjoyed a gorgeous Sunday brunch one day & Room Service the next. The staff was gracious & kind. We walked to North Beach (easily!) for a lovely Italian dinner. So all in all a really great weekend.

It was quiet, and clean. We as a family felt safe. The employees were all very helpful. The parking was very convenient and our cars were secure

The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. My husband and I took my son and his two friends see a concert. The front desk was helpful with locating a restaurant near the venue For my husband and I to have dinner while the kids were at the concert.

We were with our two grandchildren, ages 7 and 8. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. Our room was small, but the lobby areas and hallways were spacious and beautiful. It really is a luxurious hotel.

Parking was full and we were asked to find parking elsewhere. After searching for parking for 20mins, we were able to convince the hotel staff to accommodate us, as we had 2 kids to take care. Didnt expect this from auch a high rated hotel. The facilities are nice, but seemed overcrowded this time around.

The 6th floor has a funky smell, which seeps into the rooms also. The homeless in the area are out of control. It's not fun dodging human excrement while walking to and from restaurants in the area. Offering a kids cereal bowl option a la carte would probably earn you more breakfast goers, in my opinion. Other than that, exactly as expected.

Great property for my family and myself! It was clean, beautiful, within walking distance to Chinatown, McDonalds, and a Ghiradelli ice cream shop. Taxis waiting directly outside. The hotel staff were fantastic! The front doormen Kevin and Norman were the best, and check in staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. I left my phone in the room after i left, and security immediately retrieved it upon me calling from the airport. I will def stay here again!
