Comfort Suites Oceanside Camp Pendleton Area

Hotel staff was nice, easy check in and check out. Room was clean and breakfast was decent. Had a shower head leak and front desk staff put work order in, (don’t bother calling they won’t answer). I had to follow up twice and leak was never fixed. Manager checked in with us which is nice and told us it will get fixed. I taped the leak for the time being, so it doesn’t leaked over the shower curtain and getting towels and floor wet while taking a shower. There’s also an incident at the back of hotel where we parked ( as me and my sister walking back in to hotel, a woman and a man on a maroonish red car had doors open and car running at the back of hotel where you can’t see them. As soon as I got inside the hotel, the woman then asked my sister before she goes inside, if she want to buy a 5 dollar vape, my sister said no. These are signs of unsafe environment especially for kids. More cameras in the back parking lot could help deter sketchy activities. Overall a decent hotel, just feel unsafe after parking lot incident.

Next to I5 so east to get around. Near beach too. Saw some homeless. Be aware of your surroundings especially if traveling with kids.

We picked this hotel because it was close to family whom we were visiting. It was quiet, clean, and safe. The staff was very friendly. We will stay there again the next time we are in Oceanside.

The staff was very accommodating when it came to needs. The room was big, it did have 3 beds which was nice but there was mold around the door in the bathroom. Traveling with a family I always have to do at least a load of laundry on vacation and found it insane that it was $6 to do a load of laundry that only takes quarters.

Everything was overall pleasant, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was excellent for the family plans.

Hotel played loud music through the hotel-wide PA system starting at 9:45pm, after my family (with young kids) and I had gone to sleep. They would not answer the front desk phone, so I had to go down and tell them the music was too loud. They then turned it down. The music started again at 6:30am and woke us all up. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a decent night's sleep. Also, the coffee at breakfast was just brown water.

My family of 6 stayed overnight during a busy sports weekend. From hockey in San Diego in the evening to soccer in San Clemente the next morning, we had a comfortable home base that had plenty of room to accommodate us all. Breakfast was impressive and well stocked with plenty of seating, even during the weekend morning rush. Staff was especially warm and pleasant. We look forward to our schedules bringing us back!

The carpet in our room was so gross. We couldn’t let the baby down. I let the manager know and nothing was done. I would not stay at this hotel again

Very comfortable and clean. My family felt at home during our stay.
