Holiday Inn Oceanside Camp Pendleton Area, an IHG Hotel

Jr suite option is a must for my large family, very roomy and very clean.

Extremely grateful with the staff, property, and amenities. It was a pleasant experience for myself and my family. We would definitely would love to stay here again.

Our family enjoyed our stay at your hotel. Superior service from beginning of stay to end of stay. Staff was very pleasant and very courteous!! Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

I paid for ocean view, and the hotel doesnt have ocean view. The hotel has a deck on the sixt floor, but the person behind the front desk didnt allow us to go there, claming "quiet time". For the same reason we werent allowed to use the tables on the first floor to have our dinner purchased from the restaurant nearby.Quiet time is acceptable for kids, but not for group of adults. The only person who was taking quiet time was the one on the front desk, she was constantly taking a nap. In the morning, we were locked out our rooms while having coffee,a few hours before check out time. I will never use this hotel again.

Great location, property clean and safe. We did find a homeless man sleeping in the stairwell but the front desk responded immediately and seemed very concerned on how he got in. Security does appear to be a important topic. Our room was clean. But we had ask for more towels, we had 4 people but got 3 towels, but they did send them right away. Our light bulb on the night stand was burnt out and the temperature control didn’t go below 70. It was way hotter then 70 in our room, the hallway was freezing compared to our room. The weather was cooler so we just opened a few windows, but I would be concerned during the hotter time of year. That room would be hot!! I would definitely stay again, nothing is ever perfect, and staff did seem to care and want to assist, so that is high in my book. Good value for the cost and again the issues were frustrating but most were taken care of. I would recommend to a friend or family member.

Not so amazing, advertised as having a bar did not also kids do not eat free with paid adult. Had to ask for towels we were a party of 4 and only two bath towels. Ac unit worked but was very loud. Found dirty socks in room by side of chair and holes in towels.

Disgusting dirty room paid for junior suite was handed a key for a disabled person room .

We only stayed for one night to celebrate my son's bday who is in the service in the military with the Marines. We asked if we can check-in early and Ms. K made it possible. There's a small fee but for the occasion it was priceless. Because we were able to prepare the room and put some bday decorations with his favorite Gudetama. He knew we left early from Las Vegas so while doing our little project he called twice and was asking how much longer before we get there bec he was already waiting outside by the beach. Anyway, our surprised was a success and he cried with tears of joy. The location was great. You are literally very close to the beach, mall, restaurants and many more that you'd like to discover. Lots of outdoors activities. The place is quiet and clean. But there were insect coming from the AC but it's not like Bec the was dirty. I think the insects are coming from outside and should be an easy fix. The beds are comfortable and 6 people fits perfectly with their junior suite with multiple beds. Towels are not enough but you can easily asked for it. Overall we had a wonderful and memorable stay. We will surely come back to visit again bec my son have a few more months to stay. We visit him as much as we can while he is close by and take advantage of it. A small sacrifice to show our full support for the service he is giving to our country in return.
