The Surfbreak Hotel

Avoid this “hotel” at all costs. Checked in due to a flood near my home with my baby. Lady at front desk was clearly on drugs and the number provided for the front desk was a cell phone number. Room was cheaply remodeled. When it was time to take a shower…. NO HOT WATER. I called the “cell phone” for front desk, first time went to voicemail second time lady said “oh just give it about 10 minutes”. I gave it 15 minutes, still no hot water. I packed up immediately and went to an hotel with running hot water. I requested refund from hotel who refused to give a refund and stated it should warm up in the “next hour or two”. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and have never in my life had this experience. Hotel manager was following me out to my car yelling at me for contacting Expedia while I was holding my baby. Avoid at all costs.

The room was clean and the staff was great. Parking on site provided by hotel no additional fee. I love the shampoo conditioner and lotion provided by them. It was a good location to stay with kids.

First trip with our little infant and all went well!

service was sketchy at check in as well as the clientel. Definately not a family place. Maybe ik for a pass through stay.

My family of 4 had a fabulous stay at the Surfbreak Hotel. We will def be coming back again in the future. We loved the donut shop across the street too!
