This place used to be the nicest around, but when we were here, it was overpacked with people, there were people partying in nearby rooms and in the hallways into the early morning hours, breakfast was a mess, and there was no valey parking spots available--- they were full, so we were forced to park across the street in the parking garage (which was actually much cheaper, but so inconvenient when you have a medically fragile child). I had to leave my daughter in the lobby of the hotel to take my car across the road to the parking garage- it was uncomfortable, as a parent, absolutely. Ultimately, our room was clean and comfortable, but the stay overall was not a great experience.

Unfortunately, I have to give this hotel 1-star. During our visit, the hotel was packed with families with kids of all ages. The kids were so terribly behaved (we're talking 20 kids... not just a few). I was extremely worried about for their safety and the safety of other guests. Even as late as 11pm, kids were running and screaming around the hallways.
While getting dinner at the bar, I watched numerous young kids coming in and out of there rooms to peer over the hotel balconies, trying to find their parents -- a huge group of which were doing shots at the bar. I was dumbfounded.
While parents not watching their kids is not exactly the hotel's fault, absolutely nothing was being done about the kids' behavior. If you are a parent who wants to absolve yourself of responsibility, this is the place for you. If you want to enjoy your own stay (and sleep peacefully), I cannot recommend this hotel. I regret wish spending $360/night for 1-night of chaos. Will not be returning.

Stayed with friends and family after a Rivercats game. Great location. Only issue we had was that the valet was full so we needed to get a spot in the parking garage across the street.

I have the opportunity to visit Sacramento with family recently and the stay here was awesome. Clean, good food, great location. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely stay again when we return to the Sacramento area!!

Another hotel for the books. This place was a great location to old sac as well as the capital. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool however in my opinion the pool water looked very dirty. The hotel staff were wonderful and very helpful. This was the only hotel out of 5 hotels we stayed at that officer complimentary drinks and snacks from 5:30-7. That was a big plus for us as we were traveling to different locations throughout California. They have the best customer service here. Will definitely come back. Even thought I gave 5 stars only downfall is parking is across the hotel. Or you can valet for 36 dollars.

Only stayed for one night but our family loved our very short stay. Clean and spacious room, and the breakfast was delicious.

We enjoyed our stay and would return! We got to use the indoor pool both days of our stay and only wish it were heated—but overall it worked out for us. It was clean, close to the elevators, and nice that towels were provided. Front desk and valet receptionists were all friendly over the phone and in-person. Breakfast selection was diverse enough for us and well-supplied. Pleasant ambiance for families with young kids and appeared friendly for people on business too. All public areas seemed frequently monitored and swept. Our “standard” room with an inner bedroom with door, separate from the bathroom and sitting area, worked out really well for our kids to sleep away from the noise of the wedding reception music and public areas at nighttime. Location was great for us to walk to Old Town and just a short drive from MOSAC. My only complaint is that it took awhile to get our infant crib that we requested in advance, as well as extra towels. We resorted to using the pool towels because we never got any after multiple calls to housekeeping.

Since I was a child, I’ve always loved coming to Embassy Suites. The ambience alone is a winner. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to us during our stay. We had a blast in the pool, which is open until 11pm, another bonus. Lastly, the morning breakfast is always amazing, with many options as well as made to order requests. My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed our time here, definitely will be back in the future!

Our stay started out amazing. Having stayed at this hotel many time sin the past, I felt confident in recommending this to our friends that traveled with us....BOY was I wrong. There was a some sort of youth sporting event in town, where 30 families (roughly) were staying at this hotel. The parents were more interested in sitting in the bar drinking, while their children ran the hallways, screaming at the top of their lungs, played ding-dong ditch by banging on hotel room doors and playing in the elevators (making it impossible to get to your room). Management was contacted several times, but refused to do anything. In fact, saying "well ma'am it's not like we can arrest them" or "I wish I could control others kids." It was so loud that we had to leave and stay in another hotel.
