Hyatt Regency Sacramento

This use to be my favorite hotel when i visit downtown Sacramento. There's bar access and a fireplace near the spa and pool, it gives it a very attractive look, and it's usually my highlight. However, this time, the pool and hot tub was overrun by children and teenagers. They were literally running and jumping back and forth into both. It was very uncomfortable and it ruined our night and experience there that weekend, since that's usually a highlight for me.

Our room smelled like the carpet had just been cleaned and the carpet was still wet. My kids kept complaining about stepping on the wet areas of the carpet. The stench was also terrible.

Hotel was very clean and we had a nice stay. There was a YMCA Convention at the hotel so there was about 400 kids roaming the halls and were everywhere but they were better than most kids with the noise levels. Weather wasn't great on this weekend and it took a toll on the hotel, came back from dinner and found a leak in ceiling, hotel staff quickly took care of it and everything was good after that. Overall it was a pleasant stay and a great place to campout for the weekend.

This was an awesome Place for a staycation with my family. We enjoyed the pool(even in November). Starbucks is a hop skip and jump away. Easy access and about a 9-11 minute walk to the Golden 1 Centwr. The staff at the front desk were very helpful especially Steph and Ally along with the rest of the ladies. Housekeeping was also attentive as well. Keep up the great work and we will be back!

The room was wonderful. Large comfortable and quiet. We came in late around 8:00 PM and decided to have dinner in the bar. There was a bartender and two waitresses. We had to wait to be addressed initially and then cocktail order taking, delivery, and food order were slow. Also had to ask several times for the bill. There were two people at the bar engaged with the bartender and one family of 4 in the entire area. I was a restaurant consultant and worked for the Hyatt San Diego in my previous work.

Perfect place to stay in Sacramento. Especially with kids!

Great location and lounge areas. Good for families too. They loved the breakfast on the rooftop.

The staff were very nice and informative. The hotel was clean. I am probably old fashioned, but I feel parking in your garage should be included in your price. I find it petty to be changed for every little thing. While checking in I was told I had a park view(not requested) like I won the lottery. When I looked out the window there was a fence around that the part of the park for construction. The view was awful. I stayed at a family owned hotel in San Francisco that impressed me. Free parking, complementary breakfast (that was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had) fresh baked cookies put out in the lobby in the evening. They got it right.

The movie at the pool was next level. Happy family. Thank you!!!
