The property was clean and in a great area. When checking the front desk staff was friendly. We had to fix the toilet paper holder as it was broken off the cabinet and just lying there. The shower floor was super slick when I got in, be careful. When we got back to the room later that evening, and went to get the sofa sleeper ready for our kids there was no linens. We had to call the front desk and request them. When making the reservation made sure I stated we had children staying with us. They wouldn’t bring them to the room so we had to get them from the front desk. Blanket had 2 huge stains and were horrible quality. Continental breakfast was OK. For the price it was just ok, paid for the location.

There were ants all over the kitchenette in the suite. Sadly, only toxic sprays were available in the property. Not children friendly. The blankets provided for the pull out couch had multiple stains. Even asking for a second set had stains. The breakfast selection was poor. Waffles were the only plus. No fresh fruits, perhaps due to ant within the property. The decaf coffee was also cold. Only plus on this property was friendly staff.

This was our first time in a Home2 residence and I’ll be looking to stay at this hotel in the future. The kitchen area has all the essentials that you’d hope for in any other hotel— a mid-sized refrigerator, a microwave, a small sink, dishes, pots, and even a dishwasher. We didn’t use any of it, but honestly it’s be great for families with little kids. I remember many hotel stays with my kids when I’d hope there would be a microwave to heat up Spagghetios. The TV had plenty of channels, although the quality of the tv was not stellar, and the black out shades were incredible. It was so dark in our room I hadn’t realized it was light out already in the morning. For the price, Home2 has won me over. It offers what every hotel should offer to its guests.

My stay was interrupted by mother nature, horrible winter storm which is not the hotels fault, but the way it was handled was horrible. I booked a 2 night stay the first night we were there power was knocked out by the storm, miserable night with kids running back and forth on the floor above is. In the morning they could not provide us with any direction as to how they were going to handle the situation, no heat or hot water, sleeping in my car would of been a better option. Around 5 pm on our 2nd day they said they could possibly send us to their sister hotel down the way, not they weren't sure if we would have to pay again. They also were supposed to email me once power was restored to advise on my refund, instead they just charged my credit for parking. We cut our anniversary trip short and came home. Staff inside was friendly, but they should of been given better direction on handling the situation and absolutely should not have charged us to go stay at their sister hotel.

I booked the hotel for accommodations during a family event. Upon entering our room my husband’s first impression was it was less than impressive. True it is not fancy, but Yes it was comfortable, clean and the total accommodations were extra with full fridge, microwave, sink, dish ware and even a dishwasher. On our 2nd day there our grand daughter and great grand joined us and the Comfortable pull our Sofa was an extra plus. The staff was friendly, gracious and provided clean sealed extra bedding. Breakfast was included during the stay .. weekends included fresh omelets, breakfast sandwiches, hot and cold cereals, breads, fruits, yogurts, milk and fresh coffee.

Not a family friendly hotel! If you have kids please don’t stay here. We booked this hotel based on other reviews and the newness of the hotel. I wish we hadn’t. This hotel is located in a seedy part of Sacramento and next to dive motels and trailer parks. The front doors to the hotel are kept locked to keep non hotel staying people out - homeless and bums. Once inside it is new and clean. The staff was very friendly. The parking lot was pretty full so we had to park in the back and there were kids partying by the cars. We didn’t feel safe leaving our car there or staying in the hotel. I rated this hotel the lowest in all categories even thought the hotel was clean and the staff were nice because I wanted this review to show the lowest rating possible to warn families not to stay here. The location is terrible and feels very unsafe. There are better options in the Sacramento area.

I had a reservation today in west Sacramento, ca at homes 2 suites by Hilton. I called the property at 9:33 and was told we could have an early check in 12:30-1 arrival. Arrived at 1pm. Was immediately greeted with attitude and it was clear the two woman working did not care to assist me. I was told that I couldn’t check in early and they don’t know who would have said that on the phone because it’s not true. They stated it would be 30 minute wait. I said ok. My family and I waited in the parking lot. Went back in at 1:20 to see status and the woman again was extremely rude. She said she was the manager and doesn’t know when a room is going to be ready. Shortly after we were given keys to rooms 221. The room was filthy not cleaned garbage pubic hairs on toilet dirty sheets in made bed ect. Additionally not even the room we paid for. We went back to counter and proceed for thirty minutes at counter being told that even though our booking is for a queen suite the code It booked under is not that room. I called hotel.com to have them confirm our room type and request them to change code per manager at hotel but they said everything on their end was right and the manager refused to take my phone to explain to hotels.com what was needed. To then state that room is sold out anyways. We get given room 210 room is too small for our family of four. My boyfriend went back downstairs to see if they can comp conjoining room to accommodate us and was told that suddenly the
