Holiday Inn Express & Suites Moreno Valley - Riverside, an IHG Hotel

Overall the room, lobby, and service was great! Breakfast, or the lack of timeliness, could have used some improvements. It was college move-in weekend and by the time the protein was replenished, most of the families were done eating. When asking the staff, the patience and answers were short and brash.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast is always decent. The room was very clean and comfortable. We’ve been staying here since its opening, while visiting family.

The property was beautiful and clean. I had an issue with the guest upstairs as they had children running and jumping at 12am. The staff did everything they could to ask them to be quiet but unfortunately due to the children not listening my husband and I had to move rooms at almost 1 in the morning. This was unfortunate but they did get us a new room.

The breakfast has very limited selections. The worker stayed in the ktichen chatting all morning. No one cleans up or even refilling the empty coffee or hot water dispenser. Front desk person is also missing in the am. I come quite often as I visit my kid at UCR. Fairfield next door is a much better choice

Someone came into my room and stole a pair of pants out of my room I'm the only one with the key so your staff went into my room and stole a pair of pants that was worked about $80. I addressed this to the front desk they didn't do anything about it so I called the Riverside sheriff department about it and made a report I will never stay at a Holiday inn ever again I work hard every year for my vacation and this stuff happens I will never stay the Holiday inn Express ever again I know I'm only one person but I also will tell all my friends family and co-workers never stay at Holiday inn Express because you guys are a bunch of thieves

Staff was efficient but unfriendly at check in. Wife, kids and I laughed it off while wondering aloud, if people clearly hate the work they’re doing, why not do something else?

We arrived at 3:45pm and the room wasn’t ready. We came back around 11:30pm to check in (with my family) and they have us the wrong room and we walk in on someone taking a shower. This should’ve never happened. I expect someone from the hotel to give me a call.

Well, there was a power outage all day on Friday September 2nd and we had a wedding to go to, so we weren’t able to shower or fix our hair for me and the kids, although we understand that it was out of the hotel’s control, but they could at least offer some compensation for the inconvenience. No AC, it was very HOT that day, no breakfast.

We stayed 4 nights, the first day after check-in when I got to my room the remote didn't work, I was told I had to come back down to get a replacement. Wow.... Then I asked for a shower chair for my handicap family member, I was told they didn't have any I would need a handicap room but none were available. Wow....... Second day I asked for a set of towels, the double room only had two sets of towels, there were 3 of us, I was told ALL the towels were being washed it would be an hours wait. Wow....... When we got back to our room the freshly washed towels were sitting on the floor at our door. OMG...... The breakfast only had one choice of meat and it changed daily. I won't go back, it's only 3yrs old they need to do better, customer service sucks.

When I arrived, I was checked in fast and the person checking me in was friendly, so I was happy at first. When we went to the pool, pool towels were not ready. Being dryed. Ok, no big deal. I went to go get the sunscreen from my room and use the restroom. A cleaning lady opened the door while in the restroom. I was confused. Why would a cleaning lady want to come in at 3:30pm? I just left it alone and just went back to the pool. When coming back, towels were still not ready. When in tried going to my room, my room key didn’t work. I went back down to the pool to get my husbands room key. Didn’t work either. I went to the front desk and found out I was booked into the wrong room! We had already unpacked, we had three kids and my husband who worked an overnight shift just wanted to rest after the pool. It was such a hassle! We got the keys to the correct room and had to move all our things. We just wanted to relax. Then, to our disappointment, the WiFi didn’t work. Our stay here was one disappointment after another. We would never ever stay here again.
