Hampton Inn Riverside March Air Force Base

We stayed here due to a burial at the national cemetery the next day. We came in exhausted and emotional with children. The property is beautiful and a convenient location. Check in was quick and efficient however we were not expecting to have to pay for parking. The building and grounds were clean. The parking lot was well lit. The room was fantastic. Clean, good sized, comfortable beds, safe and accessible shower, etc. our only complaint at this hotel was the pillows. I’m pretty sure they were just folded blankets inside pillow cases. The pool was amazing and the kids loved swimming in a heated pool when it was 52 degrees out. We used the laundry facility also and had no problems. The staff was helpful when we had a question. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious! The staff did an amazing job keeping everything clean and fresh. We would absolutely stay here again if we needed to be in the area.

Great hotel for the family!

I was saddened when my mother checked into this room, and it was mentioned that a parking fee of 14 or $15 was in effect. There was no mention of that in the booking. This property is not in a metro area. There is nothing within walking distance. This is simply a destination property. Charging for parking at this location makes you look snooty. And, sadly, this fee was not mentioned in the booking or part of the booking. It was my 70-year-old mother who stayed and was so sad that a $14 charge that nobody knew about was being put on my card. Yes, I wanted to put her in a safe place, but I didn't want to put her in a place that is going to tack on extra hidden fees. Charging for parking is uncalled for at this property the only thing it says is that Hampton Inn is very greedy. You have people trapped. There's no other place to park and walk to this hotel. It's one thing to be the best hotel of all, but it's another thing to act like the worst. Charging for parking at this location is shameful. I won't be coming back or asking my friends and family to stay here when they visit me. No one likes hidden fees. I really feel bad that I booked this hotel for my mom. Your parking fee ruined a nice family weekend.

Service was great! We were in town for a family party and was allowed an early check in.

Great customer service. I wish the breakfast started at 6 rather then 7am. there was lots of kids at the hotel so I heard running in the halls and the tv in the next room was loud. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

It was very clean, Quiet and family friendly.
