Chalet View Lodge

We’ve stayed here several times both in winter and summer when visiting family, so we usually just sleep here. Check in and extending our stay was a snap. The front desk staff was quick and efficient. The room assigned to us was handicap accessible so it wasn’t our favorite type of room. Bed was comfortable with a very nice down comforter so staying warm at night without the heater was easy even with evening temps dipping into the 20’s. The TV and heater were controlled by remotes. The in room coffee was a Nespresso machine that wasn’t automatically refreshed. However there is an on-site Starbuck’s coffee bar so morning coffee was no problem but an added cost. The room has a microwave and small refrigerator. This room was a tile floor so having slippers was helpful to keep feet warm. The bathroom was spacious and had fluffier towels than I remember. The parking for this room was a ten step walk. Parking for other rooms can sometimes be a little less proximal but still convenient. The hotel sends text messages reminding you what on site facilities are open (brewery 4-8 pm) and what time the front desk shuts down in the evening. As a winter stay, the site was very quiet and peaceful.
