Best Western Plus Truckee-Tahoe Hotel

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Best Western in Truckee! Many amenities, great staff, good breakfast. Very family oriented. Will definitely come again!

Our room didn't have hot water for shower. My family couldn't bath till next day when I asked to change the room to the other side of the building. It might be that the first room was far from the boiler. Bed isn't comfortable, it has a pad filled with feather that was poking my son. We had to remove the top pad and clean the feather from the bed. Breakfast is good, ample parking, quite place.

Great stay with family

This is a great, low-budget place to stay for families. The breakfast was amazing, the room was quiet, and the pool area looked really comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that I specifically chose this place because it said it had roll-away beds. However, it violates fire codes to have such a bed in a room with two queen beds. I wish that had been clear on the website.

My family went on a week long road trip and this was by far our least favorite hotel we stayed at. The girl at the front desk was not friendly. When we got inside our hotel room it was 55 degrees and it took forever to get it heated up. I’ve never stayed at a hotel before where they don’t have it at a decent temp when you arrive. The pool was not open decent hours so the kids didn’t get to swim, which was disappointing. Couldn’t even swim the following morning because it didn’t open until 10 and check out was 11:00. The beds had dirt on the bedspreads so I could tell they hadn’t been washed. It was overall disappointing. I will not stay here again. The good part about it was the location. I’m sure there are others more decent right in the same area though. Pictures online make it appear better than it is.
