DoubleTree by Hilton Pomona

The hotel was nice with very minor annoyances. The room spacious and clean. I didn’t like that there wasn’t any extra bedding for the sofa bed and had to call to have them brought up. With our late arrival our son just wanted to sleep. The dresser drawer kept sliding open on it’s own which was a bit annoying. I have a young child and didn’t feel safe letting her roam alone. Food was Great and the staff was amazing.

Staff was so nice , we even got warm cookies for the whole family when we checked in .

This has been my go-to hotel to visit my family who lives around the area, but recently it has been a let-down. I was there in October, the room I stayed in had a lot of flying bugs around the sink and shower area, they are coming up from the sewer. I reported to the management, took them a few attempts to get back to me, and I was reimbursed for one night out of the three nights I stayed. (I didn't manage to report at that time because I was busy with the funeral). I again stayed in December, the first night I stayed also had a few bugs flying up from the sewer, I also found a dirty sock in the corner, and dirty sheets which made me unable to sleep at night. I reported to the front desk and she didn't seem to care about my experiences. She switched me to another room on the first floor which had a constant humming noise (I think the room was next to the condenser or something). The humming noise was very bothersome. I really had enough and this would be my last time staying here.

The hotel was not kid friendly. First night they were not able to provide infant bed or status if they had one available. Staff seemed bothered we had kids. On our last night, staff wanted to move us rooms due to multiple complaints because my one year old was walking; and we were informed once of the issue. This is after being there four nights without any complaints.

My family and I had a great time. We enjoyed the pool and loved the cookies. The staff was friendly, very helpful and always smiling.
