Great hotel, very friendly front desk staff. Beware of hostess in restaurant. She is extremely rude. Nothing like being scolded for not having a reservation in front of your kids, after the front desk assured you, you wouldn’t need one!. And then listening to her complain about the front desk staff! Also apparently new self park system and still working out kinks, so was double charged. Still waiting for that to be resolved.

This was my fourth stay at this property and it definitely has gone downhill a bit but still nice and family friendly. Just small noticeable “cheaper” changes they’ve made.

Our first time booking here as a family and it was a great place to stay for mother's day weekend. Great for families as they have separate rooms specifically for families or a getaway!

Great hotel for a family vacation. Very kid friendly, with nice pool, bike rentals, etc. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

Really nice hotel in an excellent location. We attended Ohana Fest and the hotel is just a few minute walk to the venue (Doheny state beach). The hotel is quiet. Good for families or couples looking for a relaxing time. Close to restaurants. In the summer you can jump on the Dana Point trolley for free and zip around the city and neighboring beach communities.

The location and the property are beautiful. The staff was very helpful, our room was fantastic and had pool access which was especially convenient traveling with kids. Also, walking distance to Doheny Beach. It was a great trip and we hope to go back again soon.

I had requested connecting rooms. We did not get. Carlos, the front desk clerk said we can’t do that because you booked through an outside agency. He told me I should only book through the hotel directly if I expect to get anything. Also wasn’t put on the same floor. I had to take a down grade to be on the same floor as my family.
