This was my first time staying at a Ritz Carlton. I guess I had higher expectations for it. The common areas were nice and clean but the room was small and outdated. We did pay an outrageous fee to upgrade to an ocean view but that made the trip. The views were amazing! The charges at the hotel were unexpected ($70 a day for parking plus $60 resort amenity fee). The food was very pricey and nothing great (much tastier food at any local restaurant). We finally walked a short distance to Moulin and had much better food for breakfast/lunch. At the hotel, expect to pay $20 dollars for a drink and $18 dollars for a small, mediocre kids meal. If it weren’t for the views of the ocean, this hotel wouldn’t be much to brag about.
