Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa Orange County, an IHG Hotel

Welcoming and convenient. Stay here regularly when visiting grandkids.

A decent hotel, but a bit tired. Can definitely do with a refresh. Got a swimming pool and spa, but no children pool, which prevents me from enjoying the pool properly (have to make sure the little ones don't drown!). Very near to the South Coast Plaza Asian food hall, very handy, and access to the freeways.

Javier, Alexander and Adrianna were exceptional. Great service overall. We had several family members stay and we all enjoyed our stay and their above and beyond service

This property is awesome! Right off the freeway, is off and easy on. I checked in with Jessie at the front desk….she is absolutely amazing, made me feel welcome, super friendly and truly down to earth/very sincere! Then off to the Bar/Restaurant to meet Beto…what a sweetheart! Loves his job and it shows, excellent Bartender, made me feel like part of his family! If you are in the area, you must stay here. You won’t be disappointed

I did like the location of this property as I was able to walk to many different places locally and it was easy to get Ubers. I like that they had a restaurant on site and that it was fairly clean. What I did not like is in the main lobby I found a whole family of roaches crawling on the wall and it really made me uncomfortable and second-guess the cleanliness of this hotel. I also did not like that I ate at the restaurant on site and was charged $30 a drink. I got a non-alcoholic drink and ask them to put vodka in it and for some reason this came out to be $30 and I got two of them so I ended up paying $60 for two drinks. It was supposed to be happy hour as well and I didn't get any discounts on drinks or appetizers. The food was great but the price was not worth it at all and actually made me incredibly angry. I probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again based on how much I paid for it and then my experience saying

A good hotel for a good price, but it may not be the Hilton but it's still way better than a Holiday inn. The staff was friendly. All the amenities we're accessible the beds were clean and comfortable and instead of a complimentary breakfast, there's a really nice bar. Definitely something to stay at when you're by. Whether it's just taking a small trip for yourself or going with the family. Just please note that this place does not have cots so be sure to know how many rooms you're booking I definitely enjoyed my stay at the Crowne plaza and Will be revisiting it in the near future The only downside I can find was the shower floor. It was slippery and that's it
