Courtyard by Marriott Santa Ana Orange County

My family and I had just experienced the worst hotel experience at La Quinta Inn. It was nearly midnight when we booked with Courtyard and WOW, what a difference! When we arrived, the staff was amazing and so helpful. The rooms were clean and upkept. Best sleep we could’ve asked for. In the morning I stopped by the Bistro and both the man and woman there were so helpful and genuinely nice. As I walked back to the room, the front desk acknowledged and greeted me with a friendly “Goodmorning”. All of these little details is what makes a great hotel. You never know what your travelers have gone through, and I’m so thankful that the Courtyard team took care of my family and I. We will be lifelong Marriott members from this single experience. Thank you!

Really frustrated that restaurant was only open from 6-10 pm. Had to purchase snacks in lobby for meals, no healthy options available. Pool was dirty, which my child was looking really forward to swimming in.

The hotel room was alright, but did not feel safe. People (not guests) walking back and forth and sitting by the hotel for long periods of time and even going inside the hotel. Did not see any type of security either. Did not feel safe especially with small children.
