Embassy Suites Monterey Bay

We’ve stayed here 3 times now during new years and 4th of July. Great for families. The separate room and sitting area is key to putting the kids to sleep and being able to stay up and watch TV. Free breakfast makes it super easy to grab breakfast with the kids and then get started with our day. The facility is really nice and clean. Fitness room is open 24 hours, indoor pool means we can swim no matter the weather. The hotel restaurant is also really good. Staff are super friendly and helpful. A few things that keep this from a 5 star review. The elevators take forever especially during breakfast and on days people are checking out. Also, there’s been a couple times the shower didn’t have hot water. Overall, this is our favorite place to stay in the Monterey area with young kids.

Stayed for a family getaway. Only one night on our way and it was great! Best stay at an embassy suites I have had.

Had a great stay so the the family. Pool was murky so needs some attention but still able to swim. Staff was really Friendly.

As a family with small children, this property is very safe and has numerous accommodations so the family could spend an entire day at the hotel if they wanted. Will be returning.

Rooms were outdated and pretty dirty. Sofa and floor had very obvious stains all over them. There was syrup spilled onto the floor and left which we stepped in and smelled the entire time. Had kids with us and they had to sleep on a super old rickety fold out couch. It was a rough couple nights.

1) FIRST IMPRESSION: The moment you walk through the glass sliding doors I was hit with the horrible smell, Instant turnoff. I thought perhaps it was a fluke but every time I re-entered the hotel, I was met with this disgusting smell. 2) PRICING: What I paid for and what I got were was beyond disappointing. Yes, we had everything we needed but none of it was comfortable, appealing, nor a fun place to hang out. At almost $800 for 2 nights I’d have thought we’d have a nicer room. 3) STAFF: Your staff was excellent. Kind, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. 4) WOULD I : Sadly no. We have another big family event happening soon. We’ll be staying elsewhere.

Overall good setup for family vacation. Convenient to not have to look for food in the morning. Too many miscellaneous fees: parking and facilities fees.

Super safe and kid friendly. Breakfast buffet was 8/10. Super great options and strong coffee. No hot tub but warm pool for cool spring days. Dog park and Safeway very close. I would stay against best option with an indoor pool!

Nice family place

My experience was amazing. We had a family meet up and decided to stay at the Embassy Suites to make things easy for Easter. It was an amazing weekender. The service, the rooms, the food, the breakfast and hour hours all 10 stars 🌟 Also, the manager George with Hospitality and food he is amazing. Also, the location is beautiful. With ocean and lake views.
