For the price per night paid here there is not much services. We asked for housekeeping to come clean our lodge twice in the morning and the room was still not cleaned till 4:30 in the afternoon, so we gave up. Calling front desk was always busy, so the easiest way is to text message them and wait for response. The next day we specifically requested housekeeping clean our room and put away the sofa bed, came back to the room and the sofa bed was still there. Room is nice though, it is well kept and quite new in comparison to many resorts nearby. The lodge is a good size if traveling with kids, with a separate living room bedroom. We find spider webs at corners, but I guess it’s good enough given the limited services here.

Good place especially for families with kids. However, the restaurant service is poor--slow, tables not ready for reservation time (even when few people, they had us wait in the lobby and then after leading us to the table they combined them in front of us while we waited in between diners/other tables). Room Service had to come twice because they 'forgot' part of the order. Basically, the kitchen needs work! The maintenance of the room balcony areas were not clean. The buildings needed noticeable repainting. The public areas were in good shape. Shuttle services were fine. It's still a nice place to visit with lots to do, but I'm afraid it seems to be going a little down.

Great for families. Unfortunately we were there during construction so no playground on site right now but it sounds like they are remodeling for something bigger and better. We are excited to return and see what it is!

Very nice property for family with kids. Sports ( Golf, Tennis, Pickleball, Swimming, Hiking) facility is fantastic. Good dining options around the facility.

Stayed here with my wife and 8 month old daughter for one night on trip back home from Northern California. When you have a baby it’s not easy to feel accommodated at places you stay but this hotel resort was very welcoming to families of all ages and sizes. We loved our stay here and actually wished we could stay an extra night. The rooms were spacious and quiet. Plus the property is large enough to go for a walk and see deer and turkeys grazing. Also they have shuttles that will pick you and bring you to clubhouse if you need a lift. Highly recommended and we look forward to staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and they sure made us feel special with welcome treat & champagne. We had fun hiking on the premise and visiting the little farm for a meet & greet with the animals. The only downside I'd say is that the pool that allows children is 2 minute car ride away. We didn't end up going to the pool as logistics would be too much hassle with our toddler. Regardless, we're very happy with our stay!

Great value with a location only minutes from the center of Carmel. The rooms have abundent space with a seperate living area. The staff is extremely helpful. Only problem was misbaving children during what would have been a fantastic dinner in the Oak Room. This is the fault of the parents, not the hotel, however, maybe a alternative dining location needs to be provided near the lodge. We will definitely return.
