I *love* this place! I'm big on the quality of the shower and they hit it out the park there. And Room Service food selection is phenomenal. They have a gym, spa, and multiple pools on the premises. And it's walking distance from all the sights. I'll definitely be back here when I visit my LA family & friends again!

I picked this hotel based on it's ratings/reviews. The customer service was off the charts amazing. We had a less than satisfactory room the first night and they switched us with kindness and ease and from then on everything was awesome. My ONLY thing is I would NOT recommend this hotel with kids. We have 3 littles and felt like we were a bother to other people staying there. While the staff was so kind, I don't like shushing my kids while they play at a pool, there isn't kids items on the menu, etc. Would 100% go back with just the hubs! Also loved the location.

The hotel is beautifully laid out and the location could not be better -- the Los Angeles we dream of! The service was impeccable -- each staff member we encountered was friendlier than the last. Food was great and the restaurant was incredibly pretty - it was a place you'd invite friends to. Only housekeeping left something to be desired -- they only sort of moved things around and didn't give the feeling they'd really cleaned. Also, through [...] we booked a "superior" room, which was very shabby and needed renovation. Luckily, we were able to arrange an inexpensive upgrade to a villa which was much preferable, cleaner and newer -- although still dark and our two kids still had to sleep on two couches -- for a premium room!

My stay at the Sunset Marquis was fantastic. Few things that weren't so much: The bartenders need to pay better attention to when their guests' drinks are emptying. I had to ask for a new drink each and every time I was finished. Would've been nice if they had asked me first. There were too many kids at the pool. I recommend you get a massage - mine was fantastic!
