Hotel Ziggy

Hotel Ziggy is cool as can be and offers a great location on Sunset. Walking distance to Mels Diner and other LA highlights. Very much a rock n roll hotel so be aware of weekend partying. Updated, comfortable with great service. Pricey but so is most of West Hollywood. Not sure I'll stay again as I am over 50 but I'd recommend to my kids for sure.

If you like sleeping in a night club full of hip elitists, this is the place for you. If you want food, prepare to be underwhelmed, overcharged, and have plenty of time. The servers were amazing but there's one for the whole restaurant/bar. There's no zen to be found at Hotel Ziggy. The hotel is immaculately clean, but everything centers on the pool which is very loud. Constant parties leave guests shut out of ammenities at every turn. The staff is killing themselves accommodating private events. No curtains in my room left it like broad daylight all night, and my room was in the pool bar so my view was of liquor bottles and employee butts. I heard every drink poured, every customer request, and every throbbing party beat rocking the deck. The lobby and bar were equally loud and there was nowhere to get peace. Every pool party was full of g-strings and naked butts so this is not family friendly. I did see a number of well groomed and perfectly behaved dogs though. The staff really was kind but it's a little like shopping for records back in the day where even who worked there looked down on you for your taste in popular music.

Cool hotel but noisey if you have kids

The location was perfect, walked to all the restaurants and close drive to the museums that we wanted to see. It was great that there are daily activities happening onsite. Highly recommended for younger couples or families with older kids.

Our family had a great time at Hotel Ziggy. The front desk staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to help us with our journeys throughout the city. The environment at the hotel was also very private and more than adequate for our small family. We did experience some issues with loud music and noise from the guests on the floor above us on the last night but nothing deal-breaking. Would recommend Hotel Ziggy if you are after a central, welcoming and very cool location for your holiday in LA.

Wow, wow, wow, where do I begin? This place is an absolute gem. The staff, the rooms, the pool, the pizza, the bar, the entertainment in the lobby…just everything! Tucker was so awesome at check in. He was SO accommodating and really went above and beyond for us. He is true professional! Our room was so awesome and opened up to the pool which made it so convenient because because we had a pup with us. This hotel is beyond pet friendly. They don’t charge for your fur babies and they even have dog beds, bowls, toys, and cute bandana in your room. The pool is so much fun and we had such a great time laying out and enjoying spritzers from the bar. We got some late night pizzas from the pizza kitchen and enjoyed sleeping in until it was time to check out. We will definitely be back soon. It was a perfect staycation.
