Hotel Mariposa Los Angeles

Visiting family and did not spend much time on the hotel, but it was clean, updated, sraff were very friendly, nice courtyard, gym, and underground parkng .

The hotel was great for my family. Fun activities and friendly staff!

We had two rooms and one thing that really discussed our family is… decor pillows on clean bedding!!! Why do you put fresh linens on the bed and then add a dirty pillow, that we know has been on the floor, which touches where your guests put their face and body? That’s disgusting!!! Put the little butterfly pillow on the orange chair or get rid of it all together as it is not necessary!

My kids & I were happy to have this hotel room to recoup from an all day adventure at Universal Studios! It was close enough to the park, clean & walking distance to Whole Foods! Would stay again!

The place is about 4 years old. So fairly new. The parking is $25 a night and its safe and secured. Required pass to enter and exit. Parking was plenty. We had 4, two adults and 2 kids. So we booked a 2 queen beds. The room was like a modernized motel. We were given the 2nd floor room even though we checked in an hour early. There are 4 floors. After a night. We realized why they gave us the 2nd floor. There were thumps noises all night and day. NEXT day i mentioned and staff seems relunctant at first claiming i whoild be ok because the guests above is leaving. We have booked 3 nights. I told them it didnt sound like they were intentional noises. Almost normal walking motion. She said ok, she call me 2pm later to check what is available. 2:40pm i called because she obviously didn't check. Phone didnt work and they sent a tech that couldn't fix it. I walked down and she saw me and was obvious she forgot or didn't care. She finally gave me a 3rd floor clamong that's the best she can do. Although i didn’t like it how the language from her was as if she is doing it as a favor for me. Great. Whatever. I couldn't loose sleep another night sleep before we spend a full days with the kids at Universal Studio. We had to pack up and get to the new room. The 3rd floor it came quickly that we hear our own stumps walking normal. Wife 115lbs mind you. They just have thin floors. Staffs that clean the rooms were always unfriendly when we bump or ask them something. Welcome to LA i guess.

Great stay! We stayed 2 nights. My family and I went to universal and came back early and enjoyed the amenities. We loved the Spa Hot Tub! Would stay here again.

The front desk and the housekeeping was amazing! They pointed me and my family in the direction of food and fun! Their staff is top notch each and everyone! I will definitely stay here again

Clean room, friendly staff. Close to whole foods and a few restaurants. Highly recommend for families traveling with children.

Overall the stay was great. The hotel was clean, smelled nice, staff were friendly and there's a Whole Food nearby. The only reason i give it a 4 star is because we visited a Sunday and the bar was closed, which was a bummer. Also, like other reviews we can hear people upstairs walking. Lastly, my children were a little dissapointed with the pool, i thought it was fine but they said it was too small.

Everything was top notch! Staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Great location for Universal Studios. I recommend this hotel for families!
