Hartford Hotel, BW Signature Collection

Great hotels for larger families. We are a family of 6 and at the time I was pregnant and we all sleep comfortably. It was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite and each room had 2 beds in them. So 4 beds total along with breakfast served daily. And with 4 children parents a complementary breakfast is always a plus!

We chose this hotel based on the 9/10 review in Expedia, but our family's stay turned out to be quite disappointing. The bathroom in the suite was surprisingly small, the hairdryer didn't function properly, and the quality of the bathroom tissues was subpar. Additionally, the noise from the upstairs neighbors' footsteps and the elevator operation was clearly audible upon opening our room door.

I stayed 2 days with my family of 5, loved the full beds for the kids, separate rooms but in same unit. Was very clean and kids loved the breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

I really liked the fact that we had two separate bedrooms in our reserved unit. So the kids had their own room and my husband and I had our own room as well as two separate bathrooms! The door to our unit led into a small foyer area which led to two bathrooms and two bedrooms. It was nice to have this space to read in early in the morning while people still slept in the rooms.

The water sound of people taking a shower next door woke me up at 4 in the morning. Their breakfast buffet didn’t have much selection. The rooms are not as pictured. There was nowhere for my children to eat in the room, very uncomfortable.

Great hotel. My go to spot every time I visit my family.

We have a boy and girl so the room was perfect with a king for us and a bed for each child. Were were pleasantly surprised that we had 2 bathrooms too! The rooms were clean and smelled clean. The room also came with complimentary slippers. The only thing was the water pressure in the shower was very low. But overall it was great for the price. I would recommend to others.

The only negative was the A/C heater unit was noisy. Everything else was great! Very impressed with the hotel, the staff, the room, amenities, safe location and breakfast. We really have no complaints other than the room heater and enjoyed our two night stay while we were in the area for a family event.

Good for a family. Close to lots of great food.

The location of the hotel is a 10/10! It's near a Target and a few restaurants including an Ihop so that was a major plus. Staff was amazing! The rooms were clean but we had to inform the front desk to send housekeeping for our 4 night stay, otherwise, they'll only come before/after check out. The only problem we had was the size of the room and the position of everything. I didn't realize we booked for 2 double beds. The position of the toilet in the bathroom gave no space to enter the shower from the back shower door. The pictures posted by the hotel may appear a bigger than what the sizes of everything actually is. We asked if it would be possible to switch to the multiple beds room. It was available but we would have had to pay more, which was fine but we really didn't want to spend more money on the trip so we just dealt with it. The hotel did give us a little discount for our stay so that was nice! Another downside was the ice machine not being on our floor. There are 3 floors to the hotel but the ice machine was on the 1st floor. The hotel is old so maybe that's why. The last downside was the breakfast. It was very basic. Eggs, sausage, juice, and cereal boxes. No waffels, bagels or toast. Not good for picky eaters. After the 2nd day, we just went to IHop for breakfast. Parking was really easy and right in front of the doors so no problems there. Although it was a decent stay, I don't think we'd stay again as a family due to the space issue and breakfast options.
