This was my 7th stay at La Paloma and it was one of the best. This hotel is in the heart of Avalon within one block of the beach. The rooms have small kitchens and the atmosphere is family friendly. Is it fancy? No, but it is clean and quirky and nostalgic.

Beautiful quaint and cozy rooms nestled amongst a bunch of houses that seem to touch one another. I found myself in Italy as I walked across the vastly tiled ground with a bubbling fountain in the atrium surrounded by blooming foliage and and birds of paradise. We had to walk up about 20 flights of tiled stairs to our three room apartment which house three beds for hubby and me as well as our two grandchildren. Complete with kitchen appliances, air conditioning and a high tech heating system, and two smart televisions using the direct tv dish. We had a ball. This place is across the street from Vons and only three blocks from the town square where we ate our meals. It was an easy walk to the pier and to return the golf cart. La Paloma Flores is a friendly place.

The overall architecture of the property felt homey and old timey. It had an amazing view from the balcony suite and would definitely recommend that one. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Although its not on the waterfront, it is only a short walk to it, only a few minutes. Also conveniently located by the vons market right across the street. I would recommend this hotel if you like more of a family run establishment. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

On an island of boutique hotels, I thought this one was the cutest. Warm, friendly, helpful staff. Cool in August as rooms are under an arbor of wisteria, I didn't need the air conditioner. Must be able to walk steps & incline of Sunny Lane, which has a big population of hummingbirds. Quiet most of the time, with some neighbors pausing to converse with kids outside my door in the morning. It was clean and comfortable. Just the right space for busy island vaca! Would definitely stay here again.

Two adults and a child stayed in #6. The room was very cramped especially after pulling out the trundle bed. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was located in the kitchen which made things very awkward. Having a kitchenette was a big help. The exterior of the property was lush with plants and trees, as if the plant life and buildings grew together. The unit a/c worked pretty well. No frills, no bells and whistles and a high price tag. The location was great. The beach, museum, shops and restaurants were all walkable.

We enjoyed our Stay Las Palomas Las Flores, great location a few minutes from the waterfront.
Hospitality and cleanliness
What a quaint and comfortable stay this was, the hospitality is superb. I would absolutely come back and stay in this Hotel. Tony, I believe his name has made us feel welcome and chief is cute addition to the staff our kids enjoyed being greeted to the hotel.
A few minutes away from beach close by to delicious eatery and shops.
Would recommend this place super cute and quaint. It reminded our kids like casita from Encanto.
Thank you La Palomas Las Flores!!!

A vintage classic beauty. This hotel is not new but it is very clean and convenient to all of the activities on the island. Their is no pool but my family was going for the beach. The rooms are cozy, not spacious. We ate at least one or two meals in the room everyday. Cabin number 5 is my favorite and I am definitely going back next year for my 6th visit.

We absolutely love this place and I highly recommend it!! My husband, 3 kids and I stayed at this place for a couple of nights. It was our first time to the Island and I was looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay, considering my youngest daughter is only 1 and a half year old.
This place is absolutely adorable and peaceful!! It was perfect for us!! Spacious and clean. Pretty much like a one bedroom apartament. It had a fridge, a stove, a coffee maker, a microwave and a table with four chairs. Plus the view was amazing!! The friendly staff made us feel welcomed and made sure we had everything we needed.
I can't say enough about this georgeous place and the location was perfect. One block away from the local supermarket, museum just around the corner and the beach and restaurants only 5 minutes away. We hope to visit the Island again soon and for sure we will stay at La Paloma Las Flores again!!!

Had a great stay with my family on this girl’s trip that we took. None of us had had the chance to stay on the island before and this had been a long time coming. We had a wonderful stay and I’d recommend La Paloma to anyone looking for comfort and cozy while on their island get away.
