Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Jackson, an IHG Hotel

Good stay at this hotel. The showers are excellent, the staff were friendly and accomodating. They had a variety of hot foods at breakfast. We asked for hot chocolate for the kids and they didn't have any. Overall excellent stay.

One night stay with the family. Helpful and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and had all we required for one night. I did think the rate was too high though. Breakfast was good also.

Room 218 reeks of dirty baby diaper. I have stayed at this property for multiple years each October and I’m going to look at the Best Western next year even though I’d rather stay at the Holiday Inn.

Our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel was Ok. We arrived in town to visit with family over the holiday weekend. The evening clerk was a little gruff upon check-in, but she warmed up. She asked if we wanted full or lite room service (towels and trash). I replied we usually only need to get replacement towels & TP in our trips and we would contact housekeeping when we needed supplies. The next morning we left for the lake, placing the Do Not Disturb placard on our door. When we returned, we found housekeeping entered our room, emptied our trash and replaced our towels. Even though we appreciated the service, it felt like an invasion of our privacy. I brought it up to the front desk, Emily C., who agreed it shouldn't have happened and apologized. A few other items to mention that should be fixed were the spa was cold and cloudy & definitely not safe to use as a spa. Several of the pool chairs had ripped fabric seating areas & were not safe to use. Due to the high temperature and the fact many guests were trying to use the pool at the same time, it made it very uncomfortable to try and relax & enjoy the pool and deck. The breakfast food was "ok". They had a decent selection, but also had black/bruised bananas and oranges with black spots on them in the fruit bowl; the gravy was cold; and the coffee did not taste good. Not too appealing. Overall the hotel rooms, parking lot and common areas were clean, safe and "most of the staff were friendly.

Emily was so helpful! She checked us in early in order to allow us to get ready for a family wedding. We did not catch the name of who set up and managed breakfast- but so very attentive, friendly and helpful. Really could not have asked for more!

Property was well-kept but the walls are paper-thin and we could hear all sorts of noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms until quite late at night, and it started back up pretty early in the morning. It wasn't partying or yelling, just normal-type talking and other bumps and things you don't want your child to listen to and ask what that is. I only had one pair of earplugs packed, so I gave them to the kid. I was thankful that we were on the 2nd floor. Remember to bring earplugs not only to avoid your neighbors' noises but also because the AC and minifridge are extremely loud when they cycle on and off. Everything else seemed to be in working order, though we spent less than 10 hours onsite so didn't actually use the TV or showerhead. Location is along a highway, but quite a bit away from all the action areas in Jackson. That could be a good or a bad thing, depending on your transportation needs. Staff was friendly and I appreciated them opening breakfast a half hour early to accommodate the dozen or so rooms that were there for a local event that started at 7:30. Somehow I did manage to get an extra charge from the property of $3.68 on my credit card after my stay, despite paying for everything through Expedia, returning my key to the basket on the front desk, and not using the telephone. Not sure what that's about...

We have stayed many times as we have family in the area. Always good.
