The bad stuff: The room service food was overpriced for the mediocre quality it was. The “smashburger” tasted like a double bacon cheeseburger from Jack in the Box. The bbq wings were delivered cold and lacked flavor, it just tasted like the sauce was store brought. We ordered sodas but they were never delivered to our room. The cocktails at the pool were also expensive and there weren’t impressive. It just tasted like bottom shelf alcohol with a simple mixer. I expect unique handcrafted cocktails for the prices I’m paying. The adult pool is too close to the kids pools so you can hear kids screaming the whole time. The pool area was very dirty throughout the day, with trash laying everywhere including by the adult pools. The good stuff: The self parking was very easy. The views around the property are nice. The rooms are also very nice and what I expected from the website gallery.

Very clean, wonderful staff, awesome food. The only downside was they put kids above me on the third floor who were up and running at 6 am.

My second time staying at this property in 2 months. Works for a family setting and for a solo business trip. Pools are perfect and the views are amazing!

There are so many nice things about this property, the beds and bedding are amazing, the multiple pools and hot tubs give everyone space to either relax or have fun with the kiddos. There is a water slide and areas in the pool where you can sit and read. I just loved this place

Overall, my stay at La Paloma was very pleasant. I would like to give extra credit to a couple of folks that work there. Dave was constantly checking up, and making sure the pool area and lobby was well managed. He made myself and family feel like home. You can tell David (Dave) genuinely cares about this resort. We will be back because of Dave. Also, Sarah, we had a wonderful breakfast and very peaceful because of her. She was very attentive and such a wonderful soul. They are amazing and not robotic at all, like at other resorts we have experienced. Thank you Paloma Resort team for making our experience a wonderful time!

checking in was great! it was easy and fast. once checked in, a gentleman showed us where the best parking was, then loaded all of our stuff and drove us to our room. he was so friendly and helpful. we got settled in, unpacked then the electricity went out. it was out for hours and the room was hot as can be. we went outside for a walk and that didn't help so we went back inside our room and sat in our balcony. nothing helped! we called the from desk and they said "if you get uncomfortable you are welcome to leave"...umm ok...I understand they must've been overwhelmed with others calling and complaining but I think a better tone could've helped. we traveled with our baby, she was so hot and red so I decided to start looking for another place to stay. right when I found one, late at night mind you, the electricity kicked back in! I understand the outage was out of their control but that doesn't mean they cannot be helpful and considerate with their guests.

There was trash and used towels all over the place by the pools. Pools were very cloudy. Slide was shut off around 5pm and I had to ask to have it back on for my kids. Workers in the pool area were standing around instead of picking up dirty plates left behind and glasses. There was a trail of plates, used cups, and trays on the whole walk to our room. And the worst was a cockroach in our room! Disgusting! I informed the front desk when I left and they said they would have management call me but they never did.

Everything about this resort was amazing. Every staff member was so friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious with a great view. The property is huge and very well maintained. Not only do they have 4 different pools and 3 spas, they also have a gym, and a little outside recreation area where you can barbecue and play pool. It is great for a staycation or vacation by yourself, with your family, or a romantic getaway.

I am a former guest that had enjoyed staying at La Paloma for many years. It used to be a lovely experience til this last stay. I am extremely disappointed by the way staff handled the maximum occupancy of the hotel. I understand this was a holiday weekend and I understand that it is in the best interest of the resort to maximize the occupancy, However just to let you know about the horrible stay my family and I encountered this weekend. As soon as I checked in I was asked the reason for my stay as I replied was to enjoy the swimming pool. Yet from the day I checked in to my check out was nearly impossible. The pool area was filled to even over the maximum occupancy. There were no beach chairs nor seating areas available. The swimming pools themselves were loaded with guest to the point you couldn't enjoy the swimming pool without bumping into somebody. The pool servers were so overloaded with orders that took over an hour wait to be able to get attended to. There was hardly no clean pool towels available during the day yet the used towel bins were loaded. I ended up waiting 2 hours for clean towels. The only time my family was able to get a beach chair was 15 mim before the pool area closed by this time the pools water were filthy. The water was a greish brown color with bandaids and napkins floating around and this is on all pools around the facility except the lap pool. I experienced racism from other guest and when I complained I was ignored. This is totally unacceptable
