Celebrate my wife’s birthday by spending an evening together away from family

My family and I checked in everything was great until we were getting ready to hop into bed, we noticed one of the beds didn't have a comforter. We called the front desk to ask for one we thought maybe they just forgot to put one on it was no biggie we called and the person who answered told us very rudely that they were out of comforters. That they didnt have enough comforters. We then asked for a blanket and again very rudely he said they were out too. We couldnt believe that the 4 star hotel didnt have enough comforters for all the rooms how could this happen. Staff sent 2 bed sheets because we asked for that they didnt even offer a solution to the problem but anyway that was not comforting at all. Night was cold, didnt have a good night sleep at all. And the way the front desk person let us know was absolutely rude. This should not be acceptable for a 4 star hotel. Didnt have a good experience I honestly wish I could have my money back.

The person who checked us I was beyond nice! They were able to get us into our room early which was greatly appreciated because we had a very tired baby. We will be back!

Beautiful property! My family really enjoyed the outside pool area and lawn games.
