Hyatt Place Phoenix / Downtown

Comfy and great location. Construction was a pain but slept like a baby not gonna lie.

My visit there was okay. They have valet parking for $42 a night or you can use the parking garage that is like 3-4 blocks away. I have two children under 5 so that was a no go. Valet it is! No concierge what so ever. We had to load our own suitcases on the cart with no assistance from valet. They literally watched me do it. Which seemed rude. The hotel room was nothing special. Pubic hairs in the shower but I’m sure the cleaning staff does their best. Not being funny. I did expect more from a Hyatt but it got the job done.

Me and my family loved our stay, the breakfast was amazing.

I had booked at another Hotel that was sub par to say the least. The Hyatt was within walking distance to ASU. I had come to visit my Granddaughter freshman. Your hotel was a god send. I slept like a baby, not with one eye open. Very clean staff friends and helpful. 😊

Staff was very rude. We were told by front desk that we couldn’t sit and feed our group of 10-12 kids outside pizza at the table in the lobby. Despite us purchasing a ton of food and alcohol from the hotel restaurant. This was opposite from what the restaurant staff told us and allowed. Our air conditioning went out and was making a really loud noise. We were told to turn it off and help wouldn’t be able to be there until next day and no other options were given. Room got warm and staff could care less. Beds were very uncomfortable and view of rooftop was unpleasant. Parking is way too expensive. Wish this property had a pool. Positives were free breakfast was great and walking distance to many shops, restaurants and convention center. Location felt safe. Would probably not stay here again. So many othe choices in the area.

We booked a specific room, but when we got here we were given a different room talk to the host and she stated well they are all booked up and have no other rooms for us so basically we have to stick with the room we have. So our kids have to sleep on the floor instead of the sofa sleeper that we had booked and paid for

Was able to check in early. Front desk accommodated us especially with our toddler. Front desk also greeted us every time we walked into the hotel. Will definitely be back.

I reserved my room a few months in advance and when i got there they said they did not have an available room for me that they over booked. I had booked for a party of 5 they ended up giving me 1 queen bed and a roll out bed. This was not enough room to accommodate my family. I asked if i would be paying the same price they said yes because it was throught hotels.com and i had to takklle it up with them so i did and got that resolved. The hotel told me because of the inconvenience they would give me free parking. So after checking in the had forgotten to give me my parking pass, so i had to go back doqn amd gwt my pass. When i requested my parking pass they stated i needed to pay for it. After a few mins of getting fustrated again they finally game me my free parking pass they said they would give me. The next day after returning to the hotel my daughter said hi to the gentleman who checked us in the night b4 and he was extremely rude to her. He looked us all up and down gave us a dirty look and said in a very rude and unprofessional tone hi. Then rolled his eyes and looked away. Other than the front desk and them over booking it was nice and clean. I do wish house keeping would have came and given us fresh towels or would have taken the trash out but

The staff was friendly and helpful when we arrived with our 3 children at 3am from a late flight. The continental breakfast was great compared to most hotel breakfasts. Our room was clean and comfy and spacious for the 5 of us staying for the 2 nights.

The staff were kind and attentive. When family comes to visit I will direct them to this hotel. A great experience.
