Our stay was amazing, my family and i were thoroughly impressed. Definitely making it our to go spot when my family visits again.

What made it average was the fact that a kids convention was going on and no one advised us at checkin. Then we were put in a room it was clean and comfortable but no windows and next to all those screaming kids . We were given a new room but is was not clean and the hot water was not working properly. We did not get to use the facility like the pool or sit in certain lounging. Areas due to the kids. So overall just feel like I wasted my money if I was told at the booking I could have pushed my trip back

It was clean and updated. We haven't traveled in a bit so when we got on the elevator and it didn't seem to work we didn't understand. Another guest mentioned that we probably needed to use our key. Would have been nice for the check-in clerk to mention this as a courtesy; our family staying in another room had the same issue. Our family in another room didn't sleep at all due to noise from other guests. I'd say half the staff was attentive while other half seemed disinterested.

Was in town with my wife and children for an event at the nearby convention center. Very businesslike hotel. Market and breakfast omelette station were good. Hotel was clean. Staff were polite. Hotel is walkable. Jacuzzi was more like a warm pool instead of a hot tub which was a disappointment. Also the room shower did not have warm water for a period of time which was unexpected. Also there was no microwave in the room. Ultimately our family stay was “good”.

I stayed during the holidays and the environment was festive. My kids enjoyed the vibe, and the view from our room was great. The things I did not like are how far we needed to walk to get to our vehicle (all the way to the corner and around then up and all the way back to the other corner to reach our car), and no microwave in the rooms with kids is truly an inconvenience.

I booked a one night stay at The Hyatt for a special occasion for my family. I booked two rooms, The Presidential Suite and an adjoining room. Booking was a nightmare. I originally booked the Presidential Suite through Expedia and was told if I wanted to guarantee the adjoining room, I had to book the second room through Hyatt directly, which I had no problem doing. I called Hyatt to book the second room but was told since I booked my first room through a 3rd party, they couldn’t guarantee my second room would be the adjoining room - but they could put us somewhere in the same floor. I told them that option wasn’t going to work and asked if they would honor the price I booked the Presidential Suite at if I cancelled and booked everything directly through them. I was told yes, so I cancelled my reservation through Expedia and called Hyatt back directly to book. Then, because I had literally just booked and cancelled within minutes, Expedia hadn’t put the room back up for booking and Hyatt said they couldn’t honor the Expedia pricing because the room wasn’t showing as available, even though I explained that because there is only one left, and I had just booked it, it likely wouldn’t pop up but I couldn’t risk someone else snagging it before I made a reservation. The lady said there was nothing she could do. I was going to save nearly $200 booking through Expedia, so I told her I would just wait and hopefully book through them. Great place to stay, with the family!

Property was very clean and walkable to the downtown Phoenix area. They had Phoenix Police on property which helped my family feel safe walking around.
