Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix Cityscape, an IHG Hotel

Quick overnight stay with my family to attend an event at the Footprint Center. Thrilled with the location, staff, valet, and restaurant. Always cleanly fragrant. Only negative was the desk chair seemed to be noticeably tattered, with the leather fabric chipped or peeling in many areas. Odd for such a nice hotel. I would stay again due to the perfect proximity to downtown activities and restaurants.

great location for dining, shopping and fun activities for the family. the parking was also very convenient!

The stay was okay; I didn’t like the fact that every time we left by vehicle we had to have our parking ticket validated in addition to paying $30 a day for parking, which wasn’t told to us. Also, there is no refrigerator nor microwave to keep things cool or heat things up. We were here for a family reunion and we didn’t choose this place and will never choose this place. Too many confusing ways to get from the room to parking or to find a place to eat. We did appreciate the bikes they provided if we wanted to go see the city. HIDDEN FEES!! Once we got there, I had to pay and extra $225 for what the manager described as “security deposit”…wait, what? She said if nothing happens to the room once we checked out then it’ll be refunded…NOT TRUE! When I checked out I asked about my $225 “security deposit!” I was told that they were going to take the Parking fees ($30) a night for 3 nights and then $30 a night amenity fees out!! What? No ma’m! I told them I understand the parking but amenity fees were not going to happen. They refunded me the $30 each night plus tax. Will not be staying here again.

The only problem was someone rented out the pool so no other guests could use it. My grandkids were very disappointed. That was one reason we picked it was for the pool. They did adjust our bill, but when it's 117 degrees out, there's not much more to do.

Great Hotel. The location is in a great place. If you have kids all stores needed are downstairs and a couple of feet away. Would definitely stay again.

We love this hotel. So close to the ball field and other food options! Very clean, smells great, and great service. Easy valet. Very trendy but we bring the kids.
