Just had an excellent stay here. Highly recommend. We stayed as a family in the Shasta Building. The room appeared relatively new, and in excellent condition. The beds were large and really comfortable and everything was spotless. The kitchenette was just what we needed. The dining area had something for everyone and was reasonably priced. Really excellent.

This was a really nice place to stay. Rooms were very convenient to the main facility were they had a food court, offering a variety of food throughout the day and it was reasonably priced. We were also by the blue bus pick up are, which was very convenient, so we did not have to drive anywhere. It was very peaceful, we saw a momma deer and her baby just down the road one night while we were walking. We would definately stay here again.

The room was great but the noise from other rooms was not so good. We were on the first floor and could not sleep because the room above us had small children evidently sounding like they were bouncing off the walls till late in the evening. I would put families with small children on the first floor to avoid that as the walls are paper thin no sound proofing.

Overall, Maswik Lodge is nice for family visit. Front desk staff were nice and very helpful. Room was squeaky clean and refreshing. We just wish they had better restaurant food variety and quality.

The Maswik is a great place to stay. However, after paying top dollar for two rooms and bringing family, it was a rude surprise to have a barking dog next door to them. Embarrassing for us.

Well run, clean, comfortable bed, quiet at night. Quite adequate cafeteria-type/family-friendly dining.

Came here with family. Just a short walk to the canyon views, less than 5 minutes. Onsite food was good, large portions and friendly staff. Overall very pleasant stay!

My family stayed here for one night while visiting the Grand Canyon. We liked the room--it was pretty spacious. Some things could use updating, but it was fine. We liked that the sink was separate from the toilet/shower.

This property is even better than the pictures. The view is amazing. It was very clean and I had great communication from the host. It is a very quick drive to the center of Sedona and even quicker to the Sedona Beer Company. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor. To get to the 3rd (a little apartment) and 4th (sofa bed room) you need to go outside and down stairs. It worked out fine, but something to be aware of if there are little kids involved or inclement weather. The neighbor's house is very close to this one and a few feet from the hot tub. We used the hot tub every night to relax after our hiking, buy if late night partying is in your plans, this may be a challenge. As we hiked most of the day, we finished our hot tub time early. There are signs everywhere through the house (do's and don'ts) which are a little cheesy considering the price of the rental, but the house was in great shape so maybe they helped.
One of them states hot tub time ends at 9pm. Probably to appease the neighbor (I met him, he was very nice but also made a point to mention late night noise can be bothersome to him..). We would definitely stay here again !

This is an amazing place to visit‼ Words don't give justice to the awe-inspiring things we've seen while being here. I appreciate having the Maswick Lodge inside of the National Park. Being centrally located made the trip better. We stayed on the south side in the borrows, close to the checkin and dining area. Rooms are big enough for a family trip and have a small fridge, so pack your stuff accordingly. Lots of closet space and the outdoor, patio sitting area is a plus. We got a deal on Hotels.com
It costs $35 dollars for a week pass per vehicle.
Lodging inside the park has benefits:
✔️Easily walk to the valley center transfer point to get on the tour buses or right in front of the reception area is the blue route.
✔️Located inside of the national park.
✔️Very safe and secure location. Parking is plentiful, too. It gets very dark at night.
Grand Canyon's viewpoint and shuttles are close.
✔️Wake up to breathtaking beauty and cleaning air
Google Maps shows the entrance to the park as a toll road. Check the National Park website for maps and shuttle routesando entry tolls before you come.
