Alyeska Resort

I bring family to the resort whenever they visit. This was my first stay since the pandemic and the resort is as beautiful as ever and the staff are super friendly. The restaurants were short staffed and there were long wait times but it’s Girdwood! There’s always other options. My family had a good time and we enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel! Enjoy the area, grounds and decor. Restaurants were good and they had a variety to choose from. Walking trails nearby. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. My family and I’s favorite hotel while staying in Alaska

We had a family of 6 or 7 next door who were incredibly loud--just being kids but running, yelling, banging. Why would property allow 6-7?people in one room?

the settings great ..but not enough food options..no pub like place to get late night food .. not alot of food options for kids or teens

My first evening there I sat alone at a bar with my dad. It took the bartender 45 min to pour a beer. Telling us to wait our turn. Treated us like school children even asking for water. Others soon joined the bat ground as he informed who was first for water. My goodness 14 min for a beer in tap. With only one table in the restaurant. He was also rude and standoffish. I woke up at 745 to loud thuds and construction. I formed staff I have a son with ASD and loud sudden noises can trigger him. Well that’s what we got. It was so bad I had to stay another night. Asking for a room away from the parking lot and they put us right back there. I also noticed that we were the only native Alaskan guests in the entire hotel. I would hope that that had nothing to do with the treatment of us. Our card was double charged also. Honestly the restaurants were nothing special and the hotel was dirty. It has gone down hill so much it’s sad

Can't beat location! Ski vallet for all your equipment was great. You don't need reservations anymore for pool/hot tub. Great experience with staff. Glad I brought my own pillow... that was probably the biggest complaint of my family so not bad.

Alyeska has always been a staple for our family. It’s a beautiful restore and the staff is amazing! My only complaints are the restaurant food quality isn’t amazing and our room had lukewarm water in the shower.

I paid over $500 a night for a view of a fence. The room was super old, very dirty, unsafe and a dump. I’m local and I will not be recommending it to friends or family, nor will I be staying there again!!!

We were lucky enough to get the newly renovated rooms, which were gorgeous. The pool was very family friendly and staff very courteous and helpful. The best hotel we stayed at on our entire Alaska trip.

Nice resort with all the possible amenities. My kids enjoyed the pool. We also enjoyed the sushi restaurant.
