Aptel Studio Hotel

This is by far the worst hotel we ever stayed. We (family with kids) usually stay in mid segment hotels. All we need is cleanliness and basic services, nothing fancy. I got fooled by their prices ($300+) and assumed this is a decent hotel. 1. We landed past midnight and there was no one in the reception. After a long wait, security showed up and pulled out a room. 2. The room given to us to not clean, smelled of pets and urine and damp. After going back and forth for 2 hours with the security, I was told ‘take this room or find another place to stay’. Long story short, we had to take the room as it was too late to find another place at 4 AM. 3. The hotel is full of junkies and drunks. Not the sort of place any decent person would want to take his family to. The location of the hotel is also quite rundown and looked unsafe. The manager gave us another room for the second and our last night in that hotel. This room was way better than the first one but still nowhere decent (damp smell & not super clean).

Loud kids in the hallway at 12:30am is my only complaint, otherwise everything was great!

We have a two nights stay, work perfect for my family of three rooms.

Close to the airport and very convenient. Room was clean and comfortable. Me, husband and kids had the much needed rest after a long flight to Anchorage.

The rooms were lovely, modern and clean We especially loved being able to use a kitchen with two children. We ad an issue with the door passes not working but this was finally resolved. I would definitely stay here again when viditing Anchorage.

The hotel caters to travelers staying there for a long time. As we walked down the hall to our room there were empty cases of beer, and other empty alcohol bottles sitting outside hotel doors. We were there on family vacation, staying over before our flight home. Not an ideal place to bring a family. The hotel was loud and we did not get much sleep.
