Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tuscaloosa-University, an IHG Hotel

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property. My grandkids enjoyed the complimentary hot chocolate and cookies. Everything thing was very clean and super friendly staff. Great choices for breakfast just cook the sausage and bacon a little less.

Nice hotel. Good location for parents in town visiting their child at UA or coming in for the game.

I stayed here for one night while visiting family in the area, and found it very clean and comfortable. I wasn't working remotely during my stay, but if I had been I know I could have been comfortable doing in the room, with the rolling desk and even a taller desk where one could stand instead of sit. I especially like that this property doesn't use small plastic bottles for their amenities but instead have large bottles of Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. On the flip side, though, they're still using styrofoam plates and cups, as well as individually wrapped plastic utensils, at the breakfast buffet. I know this is to eliminate the need to wash those items and the staff required to do that, but I still think a company as big and profitable as IHG can do better.

First room had dirt from previous occupants in the tub,Staff was great,and moved my family and myself to a new clean room on the same floor. Great job Staff!!!

The staff were very friendly. Our rooms was clean, neat and smelled good. Even with construction around the hotel, the desk clerk took time to explain everything. There were always staff around to help answer any questions. This will always be a go to place for family and friends to stay when they are in town.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We were disappointed because pool was closed due to the construction going on. I wish we would have known this because we had two small children who were looking forward to swimming. The concern I had was one of the sheets in the room was stained. That sheet should not have been used on the bed because it made us wonder it was a fresh dried stain or if it was just stained.
