La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tuscaloosa University

First let me start by saying the staff were amazing! All staff were pleasant, kind and easy to talk to. We felt like we had made some friends! However, the hotel is nice but there are a few drawbacks. We started off in one room where the AC had a high whining sound so they moved us rooms. Our next room had a shared door and unfortunately we were moved to the family row and we heard babies crying through the night and kids running all around us. The walls are just thin. The cleanliness was a bit of a draw back too. The shower had lots of hair in it, and the floor needed a good vacuum, we had crumbs and hair sticking to our feet. There were a few live roaches near the AC we had to kill, we were on the 4th floor so I don’t believe these were just from outdoors/rain. Overall, the hotel is nice, but some details have been overlooked.

It as just a quick trip to bring our child to college

My stay was very comfortable. Staff was attentive & friendly. Lobby was a nice set up for a meet & greet between family!

My family stayed at this hotel for an admitted student event at The University of Alabama. It was a great price, offered breakfast and was conveniently located. The front desk staff was very friendly.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past couple of years. It’s always been clean with a friendly staff. We’ve traveled for work and personal, alone and with kids. Always a pleasant experience.

We always stay at this hotel when we travel to visit family and the staff is always so kind and helpful. The room is always clean.

One of the benefits we enjoyed was the ability to easily access the interstate. We were surrounded with retail shops and convenient stores, which was a factor when traveling with your family. Lastly, we didn't experience any areas of dislikes.

The front desk associate was very friendly and helpful. The ladies who staffed the breakfast area were so kind to my toddler who was only interested in saying hello and trying to follow them around. Will definitely stay here on our annual trip home from seeing family next summer.

The staff was great. Our grandkids really wanted to swim in the pool the night we arrived. My husband said sand was in the bottom and when we looked at it the next morning it was in bad shape. Our comforter had about a six inch yellow stain on it.

Everything is perfect for a family stay. Secured, super clean and nice breakfast. Perfect location
