We (family of 4) stayed in a room on a 3rd floor, but the hotel's elevator broke down 2 weeks ago and hasn't been fixed yet. Imagine the inconvenience of going up and down the stairs with several luggage bags. We also had a travel mini fridge with us, a toddler and one person with a knee wound, which all together considering broken elevator, made this stay the worst experience we ever had at a hotel. The elevator should have been fixed as a priority, having guests use staircase is unacceptable. If we knew in advance we would rebook another hotel, there are a few on the same exact plaza. The hotel should have notified the guests in advance about the broken elevator, and give refunds for the huge inconvenience to those who stayed.

The check in process was easy, we had been traveling for a while with the kids and I was happy to check in earlier than the posted time. Our room was clean but we ran out of toilet paper but it was replaced and so was our linens. The only thing that annoyed me was the breakfast. The sausage didn’t taste good, the eggs tasted weird, the potatoes needed to be heated up longer. I wish they had bacon instead and replaced the potatoes with hash browns. Other than that everything else was great.

They were doing construction until 8:15 at night. Then the workers wete cooking in there rooms and it smelled up the whole hotel. We were on the 2nd floor and there were kids running and jumping above us until after 10:00. We had to call the front desk. In the morning the workers were hanging out at the breakfast area not eating. Very unprofessional

We arrived early coming from our cruise. The front desk person was so put out that we were early and she kept repeating that they just cleaned the lobby and we couldn’t stay in there. She wanted us to take our two children and all of our luggage and walk somewhere for breakfast and come back later. She then proceeded to say if we were to check in early, there would be a fee which we said we did not mind . Our room is on the second floor and the door does not automatically close behind you. You have to make sure when you enter or leave that you physically shut the door so it locks. The overnight front desk person was amazing and very helpful.

We were in town to visit family and stayed 4 nights. We did not have a chance to use the pool or other amenities, but our stay was very pleasant. Breakfast was good and well stocked, even when arriving closer to the close-up time. The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of convenient charging plugs in the room. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip to the area.

I chose this holel for the cost and great reviews. My family went to Gulf Shores and it took an hour to get there from the hotel. That of course is not the hotel's doing, but it's something to consider if you plan to do the same thing. We didn't get to see any surround attractions, but the neighborhood was nice and near I-10. The rooms were spacious enough for my family of 5, but get a rollaway bed soon before they run out. Their breakfast was exceptional. They had biscuits and gravy, fresh made waffles, bagels, cereal, juices and spacious dinning area. Though it was an hour drive to the beach, my wife and I would rather stay here again. The pool and spa area was clean and welcoming. I can't really comment on the staff, because we were out most of the time. But every time we needed something they were helpful. If you don't mind the drive to the beach, then it's a great place for the family.

The hotel was clean and smelled clean. I loved the floors and no carpet! Breakfast was the same thing every day. Not too many options so my kids were hungry for another breakfast soon after. The biggest issue was no elevator for 5 days. We were on the third floor so that was super inconvenient. The pool was nice and not too deep. I did wish they had more chairs because a few times they were all full and we had to put our belongings on the ground.
