An absolutely beautiful hotel. Pure luxury without any snobbery! I felt welcome and well looked after. Small touches made all the difference, for example coming back to the room after a family wedding in another location to find the bed turned down, bedside lamps on, robes & slippers waiting at the bed, bottles of water and glasses, and a little box of chocolates. The service at breakfast was a little slow, but the quality and range of food more than made up for it. Can't wait to return!

My husband and I stayed at this amazing hotel in early August for a long weekend. Staff: Warmest welcome from the door staff which was extended into the reception and hotel bar staff. All were extremely courteous and special mentions go to Caoimhin (in the bar – fabulously friendly waiter who went over and above with making me feel welcome) and all the reception ladies who supported us with our various queries. Rooms: can strongly recommend the corner junior suite. Beautiful views over the city and the Assembly rooms. Lots of light and stunningly modern bathroom. Clean and smart décor, and in the junior corner suites we had lovely Ritual bathroom toiletries. Location: the hotel is just across the road form the Assembly rooms and, if you’re driving, close to a new multi store car park (which for us, was great!). About 15 minutes’ walk from the Cathedral quarter (walking) and by car around 10 minutes to the Titanic Exhibition and Crumblin Road gaol. In summary, when (not IF) I come back to Belfast I’ll definitely be staying in the Fitzwilliam!
