I booked to stay with my husband and kids and realised it had booked the wrong date we were set to arrive today and I checked confirmation and it appeared to have booked yesterday date when I contacted the manager to explain she was so rude unhelpful and treated me like I purposely booked the wrong date we have been left with no we’re to stay charge full rate of £189 for the stay complete unaccommodating I even have confirmation of the show we are attending to explain this is why I booked Saturday 13th April. Would never stay here or recommended it so unhelpful and tried to make me feel stupid

Great location, amazing staff. Nice big room for family stay. Sofa bed not very comfortable which is ok for a night but we were there for 3. Behind toilet always wet as looked like a pipe was leaking. Breakfast nice and lots of choice. Had dinner one night too which was nice. Really enjoyed Belfast would go back

Had a family night away and couldn’t complain about anything. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful and the food was great.

We like the near proximity of the hotel to the shops, areas of interest and the shopping. It is also very quite since we are on the 4th floor. We have a nice view of the Royal Academical Institute on waking up and before going to sleep. The breakfast is also excellent (free breakfast for my 2 kids).

In general I found the whole experience inflexible - from amending my booking to add one more to a room that I knew had a sofa bed (had to cancel my entire booking and rebook as ‘not possible to simply add a person to an already booked room’!). Horrific noise issues on the first night as we’d been put in an adjoining room (ie a locked door inside our room separated us from the next room). Had to call security twice between 3.30am and 5.20am when the party next door finally stopped (& even more infuriating - our children were put in a room 3 floors away from us when they could have gone into the adjoining room which would actually have been very convenient). If you want your room ‘made’ during the day it turns out you’re meant to request this - not to expect it (part of the joy of staying in a hotel is coming back to a clean and tidy room!). No one told us we had to request this basic, standard hotel service which is just bizarre. It’s a very ‘tired’ hotel - communal areas are all fine but rooms (particularly bathrooms) have seen better days. No niceties like complimentary water in the rooms. However the staff were all very friendly and location is excellent. All in all I’d say it was a mediocre experience.

Jury's Belfast was good, the breakfast was really good and had everything. I cannot fault this. The staff were great and so was location. The only think I would say the family room is really small and the sofa bed was so uncomfortable, I felt every spring in the mattress. These need to be upgraded.

Hotel confirmed in advance that a travel cot would be available. We arrived at 2.55pm and room not ready yet, so we went out until about 6pm. On getting to room, no travel cot, so went and asked for one. Polite receptionist said she would sort it but it took an hour and a further trip to reception before we got it (and it was now baby's bedtime). No sheet was supplied so I stripped one off the extra bed in the room, rather than having to ask again On second night, we went to the hotel bar for dinner and drinks, shortly after 5pm. It was busy and chaotic. We paid for a meal for 5 people but one dish and one drink never arrived. After asking, we got offered replacement but ended up requesting a refund instead. Good things : interconnecting rooms worked well for our family group. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, including hot food and veggie options. Comfy beds
