Europa Hotel

I was really surprised to get such a good price to stay at the Europa. We stay in Belfast a lot visiting family. I jumped at such a bargain. We were also upgraded to a better room. It had loads of space and a huge bed so we were very happy. The girl at check in was great. It was also very convenient to get parking organised at a discount at the next door car park. The bar staff were very helpful in making us a cocktail that wasn't on the menu...although margaritas really should be. We had a lovely time. Thanks so much.

Lovely hotel. Got free upgrade to family room. beds very comfortable. Only drawback is plugs are not beside the bed.

I travelled to Belfast with my partner, who had never visited Northern Ireland before. As such, we chose what we felt was a luxury hotel. Location and checking in was fine and the room itself was perfect, large bed and great view. First night was fine. Second night we returned to our room after being out all day. We were due to meet with family who had travelled from different areas of Northern Ireland to spend the evening with us. Although the bed had been made, I was shocked to find the mop leant up outside our hotel room door and cleaning cloth, still in our sink. Even worse though, was that the towels we left to be changed, had been lifted out of the bath and the wet towels folded and placed on top of the clean towels!!! I raised this with reception who assured me this was a complete puzzle to them and new towels were brought to replace all. Second day, back to the hotel room. Mop, still at the front door, but now, bed made again, but dirty cups and rubbish still in the room. Dirty towels still in the bath and cloth back in the sink. After again raising this in reception, 3 visits from housekeeping to tidy the room and replace the various things (towels, cups, bin, etc...). The man cleaning this apologised and made a point to tell me it was not him as he had just started his shift. Upon checking out, I was begrudgingly credited £150 against my fees, but honestly, I should have demanded to have all my money returned. Completely unacceptable and will never return.
